I love the reason he still keep having a hard fight after defeating the 4 strongest in the coliseum is because the enemies he's fighting is now people from outside it, aka warrior from different nation and now a general of the country.
So it's not simply " a new renowned gladiator", which should be impossible as his girls should already know of everybody.
So the gimmick he had from the start "information" doesn't just get thrown out of the window.
