I love how this story is a treasure trove of spin offs. You can literally make a full plot out of ANY of the side stories. But sometimes in life, moderation is the key to pleasure, so they might serve better as chocolate bites instead of chocolate boxes

Eh... small steps XD... they will get there.

Mizuki's father is a good dad and husband... a fun one too, his face eating the chocolates XD.

I might add too... his view on the value of his wife and daughter's work for the family is spot on, he clearly loves and respects them dearly.

Oh... so the girl found in the mountain is the Misogiyas' ancestor, Hinata is her spitting image.

Kisuke must have married her later (at least that's what I think, considering the hints), and her gratitude to Dara's actions (even if it was just a coincidence) must have led her to dutifully carry the necessities to maintain the shrine.

Funny... I kinda didn't even think about the Misogiyas' ancestor, with all that happened, I simply went with the flow.

Good luck sensei!
Also damn the wife recieves an "allowance"? They don't have a shared account? Is that how it works for single income families?
If it's anything like the setup my parents used; they have a main account for expenses, the contents of which are spent via mutual agreement – and then each of them gets an "allowance" to spend on whatever frivolities they want.

It keeps one spouse from blowing the account on expensive hobbies, while also allowing room for one (or both) to have a pricey hobby without worrying that you're draining the family account: this is your allowance, to do with as you please!

Much like the family here, that allowance was often used to buy gifts for the spouse, making the gift all the more meaningful.

I guess it was destiny for the Misogiya to be friendly with Dara san. Fitting role for them to manage the mountain where Dara san moves around.

Thou, I'm kinda curious on why they decided on wire fencing the place. Maybe compared to the other old families, it became harder for them to manage the huge place. There's also the problem of increase foot traffic when the village continued to develop as the years went by.

Did the chapter get cut short? We didn't get an exposition dump on the deeplore of the videogame and notTendo.
I think part of it was covered a few chapters ago. We might get more later if the NotSwitch pops up again.

Its kinda cool to see the Misogayas ancestor. We know there family has large spiritual power.

The fact she seems unique and is wanted for some reasons feels like why, otherwise the other families would all have inherited Juratos spiritual power.

Though alot of the families seems to have high spiritual power, but only the Misogayas have sense, and we know its passed down from parents.

Why the age gap is so big😤 is this the author fetishes
It could be part of the flavor of the flashback. Sengoku Period, life was short, most diseases were fatal. The people couldn't be squeamish about big age differences. You can see it even in US history. Teenage pioneer women marrying older men just because that's all there was around.
