Relations between different manga

Hey folks!

These past few days I've been reading some of the stuff written and illustrated by Yamamoto Souichirou, more specifically Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san and the stuff related to it. I then saw that there was a 'shared universe' tag that related this specific manga (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) to another title also written and illustrated by the same author, Fudatsuki no Kyoko-chan. As I got to read Fudatsuki I thought 'Hey, it doesn't seem like there's anything shared between the stories...', and so I removed the relation. But then, a few chapters later, I see a cameo from the other manga, the three girls that study with Takagi and Nishikata.

tl;dr

There was a cameo from Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san in Fudatsuki no Kyoko-chan. Both were written and illustrated by the same author. Does that warrant the 'shared universe' tag? Should I add it back? If you've read these manga I would like to know your thoughts.

Cheers.

Shared Universe doesn't mean that there has to obvious references every chapter. A lot of stuff is just a subtle reference, like with what the series your talking about is. Plus some authors will say on their social media page or interviews that the universe is shared.

"shared universe" doesnt even have to have any references to each other, like Sword Art Online and Accel Saga, everything by CLAMP (made into a shared multiverse by Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles), or all Megami Tensei/Persona stories (amala multiverse); and sometimes you'll have cameos and references that are just thrown in as easter eggs that don't really mean anything

basically dont mess with the tags unless you know for sure or have some kind of external reference as proof, using guesswork to decide tags only makes a mess of things and doesn't help anyone
