Seriously dude, for the amount of time this took you to write you could have googled 'chinese feet measure'.
It's doubly confusing because Chi is 10/33 in Taiwan, some random shit in HK, and the value has changed multiple times across different dynasties.
Its more an "eyeballing" measurement than anything. Kind of a bit weird for an engineer to be specifying his measurements in it, don't come off as professional.
