In most office, you have clear hierarchy and assigned task. Especially in corporate environment. Mostly we are to busy with our own task to be concern with other, sometime even to busy to help others. So for a person to easily take someone else work/task, do it and submit it to higher ups I find it unrealistic. First you have to know what the other person being task with, so that means s/he is in a leadership position. Not just a regular staff or a new recruit. For regular staff you usually have to 'ask for guidance' if you want 'to be creative' and deviate from how things usually done.
And then you have line manager, that supervise you, review your work before it can be passed on to the next in chain, make sure the person fit in and can work with other in the team. There's a lot of safety measure in corporation, to make sure people can't skip it and comply with the company culture. So I find it unrealistic that she can take just anyone job, submit it, and getting praised from management. Without being question, what the hell are you doing, why are doing someone else's job, don't we give you enough task for you to do? Where's your line manager, don't you consult with him/her, etc.
