Remember Me option not working on login

As title says, I can't check "remember me" on login forcing me to login 3-4 times a day and it's quite annoying. How can I fix this? I'm using google chrome on an old iPad, iOS 10.3.3. I've already cleared my chrome internet data before. Image:

The dev team is aware of this issue. They're currently working on a solution but there's no ETA for it.
