Felt like the author was strangling me the entire time I was reading this, final chapter was when he finally released me lmao.. (honestly I thought I'd feel the sweet release RIGHT before vol 3, somehow that didn't solve anything.. was more of a proclamation of his will to keep trying.. although there was clearly a confession within it.)
Just annoyed due to everything feeling like it's always hanging on by a thread, I've felt nothing but angst when what I look for in Romcoms is gradual warmth, a feeling of acclimation between willing participants slowly but surely + little bumps here and there..
Not like what the author did here was WRONG.. or filled with Plot-holes, it's just more of a slice-of-life + romance w/ more stress than comedy?, I'd personally prefer to have angst and problems resolved within the first 3 quarters of a story, especially if it's a romcom.. I want some warm interactions between characters that know eachother's feelings.
