did they really let one get away?
hopefully those under his command actually get around to "identifying" the dead assassins. I fully understand Saryu's prioritizing Sitoen in that moment, but we just skipped over any follow-up in favor of the lovey dovey stuff (not complaining per se, but the larger plot is important, after all).
And I don't know what next arc is coming but I will say the whole "older sister is definitely gonna sell herself to support younger sister" shtick feels a bit ...yeah.
I think it could work in their favor, rushing the wedding first night over sussing out the assassins. Having an immediate heir on the way against a kingdom that plotted the assassination is a great jumping off point for a rebellion plot line. And newly weds trying to protect the nuclear family unit of parents + child is one of the most compelling perspectives to have throughout an inssurection plotline. Sadly given the last few panels of this one, itll be a while before we get to something like a machiavellian arc, i hope they do get there eventually tho.
damn, MC is seriously strong even after getting stabbed and here we go boys, finally, the long-awaited scene. it’s time for MC to have srutal segggss with Shitoen
I know it doesn't matter, but on page 8 the assassin had a sheath in his left hand. That hand was previously holding her down. That sheath also looks like it is for a stupidly fancy dagger with those frills, not a knife. None of the other assassins had a sheath drawn on their characters.
The girl at the end is certainly going to draw the charts to track the movement of the stars and planets, and then master the mechanics of lava lamps. I mean, what else could she be referring to? Counting the scales on snakes?
I believe what you see is prince Saryuu's sword scabbard, the angle makes it look like the assassin is holding it but it's on the princes waist, you can see it again on page 10 though in slightly less detail.
