Yup, I knew it, Upsaara is just Upsaala but in Japanese pronouns lmao

Edit : just got to page 24... that altered ''when in rome'' somehow makes me feels funny for not noticing it when I first read it

In the complete absence of glasses in this setting, let me just state that Vicky Kronk there seems like the best candidate for concubine so far.
And I'm saying that purely on the basis that I personally regard muscled amazon types to be appealing (and everyone else so far looks kinda boring). Or to put it another way: I like a woman that I could use as a climbing frame.
Kronk is stronk. <3

With Japanese pronunciation it'd be more like "uppusa-ra"

It's a bit hard to believe that they'd run out of wood if Uppsala kingdom is based on Sweden. In terms of natural forest resources, we could've easily sustained construction and maintenance of hundreds of ships of the line without significant deforestation back in the day. Also, you don't use the same kind of forest for building ships and keeping warm in winter, so those resources don't overlap much. There's wood and wood.

Yeah, Upsaara is starting to sound more like the British Isles, instead of Uppsala, if they are running out of wood.

I don't believe the author quite understands the differences between tree species and varieties of wood, either.
