Someone might have already mentioned this, but the name of the northern kingdom is probably more accurately Uppsala.

@musicfreak12 I don't think Freya knows that dragons are so populous in the Southern Continent yet, I think she implied that dragons are a rarity in the north and thus their bones are in high demand.
My guess is that she's gonna find out about the high quantity of dragons in the south and try and negotiate a deal to get exclusive exporting access for their bones in exchange for full cooperation on sharing the ship technology

@AnonMan88 Wow! I did not know that about Ines. I always just assume she had affection to Carlos because she took care of him. Which is why she calls Zenjirou's son "Carlos Zenkichi" instead of just "Carlos".

Really interesting that dragon subjugation is tying into the Wallentia arc in this way. I was convinced the subjugation was just a one off side thing but this is an entertaining twist.

@saudagarbeta yeah, it was a super interesting short. I forgot to mention it before, but Aura actually asked Ines for permission to name the child Carlos because she was afraid it would be too painful for her. You mentioning Ines not calling him just Carlos made me remember.

(Ines was noticeably uncomfortable with the idea, but didn't object in the end because Aura's reason for naming the child after her uncle is because her uncle came up with the space-time magic that brought Zenjiro there in the first place. So, the child wouldn't exist without something Carlos spent like the last decade of his life working on.)

It is also worth mentioning that the story said the entire inner palace knew about Carlos' and Ines relationship. The way it sounded, if Carlos had lived long enough for Zenjiro's summoning, he would have abdicated the throne (that he was only holding until Aura was old enough anyway) and perhaps even thrown his title away to marry Ines.

@musicfreak12 different dragons probably have different quality of bones. The small ones are probably not all too valuable, but sea dragons and other large ones i'm sure are valuable because they are hard to kill

@zekkendo
Oh I see thanks for the information.
Then if she takes her Skadi (female bodyguard) they will have enough bad luck to encounter water dragons (which want to sink the ship) but are instead hunted.

Zenjirou looks pretty cool in that princely outfit with the cape, far more than his usual Capua clothes.

It's been a long time I last read the novel translations so I can't remember quite well, but can somebody spoil me whether or not he gets Victoria/Skadi in his harem?

@zekkendo all of that without doing fucking nothing, just being summoned because of the bloodline, and having some basic knowledge from our world
When i said chad up, is doing things by himself, that the plot is going in the direction of him needing to take some kind of protagonism in the events, take responsibility for himself

@RonBWL

Well, the basis for it is that it's a real place:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uppsala

But it doesn't really matter much in the end.

@musicfreak12 velociraptors, i mean, dragons don't exist on the north, and there is no trading route, so, its rare... just like the spices from India a few hundred years ago.
