That is correct, It does not seem so but most plate armour had a breastplate and a plackart, together they seem like a single piece but are actually two pieces. The artist could have had that mixed up when looking at references. The main problem I was referring to is that it looks like it's made out of a single piece from neck to stomach. That's too long, since it would restrict the movement too much. It should end sufficiently high up that you can bend down.
Armour was designed for protection, obviously, but there was a huge deal about design. After all you were not getting a full plate panoply if you weren't rich.Yeah, traditional breastplate designs aren't so much 'masculine' as they are 'human.' Men and women both have the same vital organs in their torsos, and both benefit from armor that deflects incoming attacks away, rather than towards. That said, armor that looks good is not without merit.
Instead of the usual industrial espionage, countries’ goals would literally be to steal valuable magical sperm, and engage in breeding or genetic engineering operations.
Check Vol. 19 cover for her color art.Beautiful margarette
Without spoilers: Let's just say Aura's instincts are serving her well. Things run deeper than that.I hope the thing the twin kingdoms are gunning for isn't a perceived rivalry between Aura and Freya or create a gap and jam Lucrezia in there as another concubine, causing some "oh Zenjiro must show he loves the other wives, blah blah." cringe.
It's definitely the selling point of this series. It does a great job of actually using the MC's modern knowledge and values without it degenerating into him instantly solving problems created by cardboard villains. The political games in this manga keep impressing me, considering this is an isekai manga. I suppose one important aspect is the lack of action and the total lack of utterly overpowered "heroes", so politics do matter a whole lot. So far there haven't even been comically evil villains, who do bad things just for the sake of doing bad things.
Zenjirou certainly was pushed out of a loafer life, though. It would be annoying if he hadn't been. It would be nice to see a situation where he was forced to make a decision of great importance, as that has seemed to be his red line, for understandable reasons (so that nobody would question Aura being the one and only ruler of the country).
Nothing wrong with that. I mean, it's not practical, but it looks neat in a manga.I zoomed in on Margaret's face, and I can't unsee how the shading gives her shark teeth lol.
There are Medieval pictures of female-shaped armour, so it's not like the idea of boob-plated armour is new, and it's less "anachronistic" than any isekai. So I see no problem in an piece of armour made for a woman to have a curved brest plate to really show off the booba, not that different from codpiece.
Also actually having to work to apply that knowledge. Creating marbles in any other series would be a two-page affair at most. Also also despite that he's got an OP power, he has to work for that too, with severe limitations helped in a reasonable way with modern technology. It's definitely the selling point of this series. It does a great job of actually using the MC's modern knowledge and values without it degenerating into him instantly solving problems created by cardboard villains.
The DPRK still exists and the Kim dinasty is still in power. Their problems were solved. Unlike some funny Arab guys who didn't have it.That's exactly the thinking they have in Pyongyang.
Not really problem solving, so far.
It is more like the Extreme ultraviolet lithography machines of today, they craft the high end chips in the market. The difference would be that here, someone could make a better machine, eventually; or you can use an outdated machine and have lower performance chips. But i don't even know if it is possible for somebody to come up with a better magic there, so in their case, their monopoly is guaranteed. The one to one comparison with Electricity doesn't work since it's not like 1 country enables the creation of all electrical appliances IRL.
