(before he stopped working on it and took it down due the official version being translated), he was engaged but no wedding yet. After this arc, she’ll propose the idea. From a political view, she secures a continental trading partner and a steady supply of wood. She also has plans to create a shipping dock to continuously create grand ships like the one shes riding with implications of being able to make even greater ships. Aura agrees to it as she’s promised every other ship, and Freya is willing to provide technology from her country such as the better forges. On a personal level, Freya becomes attracted to Zenjirou due to how supportive he is to his wife, as Freya dislikes the idea that she would be eventually tied down for a political marriage. So being married to Zenjirou who lets his wife rule is the perfect man for him. To build up their relationship as well as slowly get Zenjirou comfortable with the idea, as he is still against polygamy, a few arcs afterwards has her as the main heroine lead instead of Aura.

I'm very disapointed by this development, maybe slowly I can accept, but seeing this as a spoiler just make me wanna drop, because it wasn't for this stuff that we all started reading this. The manga has a very clear selling point, I would never understand why change this would be a good ideia from the author perspective.

I am forever and always slightly irritated at the word "Dukedom". The word doesn't refer to the land that a duke/duchess owns, but rather the title and privileges itself. The territory of a duke is called a Duchy, not a Dukedom.

I like strong heroines, and I really don't mind passive MC's like a lot of other people seem to have a problem with, but his wife is just the worst. She lets him down, again and again, occasionally suspecting him of betrayal. She promised him two things, the first of which she almost immediately reneged on and the latter will clearly be broken as well... even with a passive MC, it entirely breaks immersion that this doesn't breed some level of resentment and strain their relationship to the breaking point, even if ultimately resulting in reconciliation.

There is a good story to be had here based on good worldbuilding, but the author kills off most prospects of it by insisting that the Zenjiro and the queen must be madly in love with each other despite all evidence to the contrary. This is not how people work.

I wanted a slice of life comedy of a layabout king relying on his capable queen and the shenanigans he gets her into. Lo and behold, drama smashes that illusion into dust. This is kingdom building and politics, not a sponger life. Goddamn authors lying about their novels in their titles and descriptions. Is it too much to ask just to center around the premise? Why so serious in adding dichotomy?

Yeah it's pretty scummy to be honest, especially the translator that's accepting money to do it. But I guess they think it's important that people get the series for free without feeling bad about it or without having to leave their preferred site.
