So the way you pronounce the ateji is different from the common writing or is it just the same? If not, how would you pronounce it?

@dymarimar The pronunciation would be the same, its the way that it is written that is different.

The common writing for western words is usually in katakana, these symbols have only a sound which sound out "Siberian Husky".

Ateji uses kanji instead, kanji symbols have a sound and a meaning, so the ateji reading also sounds like "Siberian Husky", the meanings of the individual kanji symbols don't have to be related to what they are spelling, in this case Master and Haru are discussing situations where they do.
