I know I did, but that's because if the body wasn't converted entirely into magic than the sword would be EVEN WORSE, imagine a sword made out of flesh & bone, not only would it be completely ineffective but it would also rot.
Hence the transformation process? Just think of it as reducing the body into carbon and then alchemizing that into a fantasy metal. True the body is mostly made up of water, but that might also be accounted for by it weighing just a few kilos rather then the hundred or so the typical human weighs.

I have an issue with the female character's name.

Instead of using "Fine", use "Fain" as a name. Consider unique than using the common word as a name.
That would change the pronunciation. Her name is pronounced 'Fee-neh', and is mostly based off the German name, which is shortened from Josefine.
(For reference name in raw is 'フィーネ')

You think she weighed a few hundred kilos? What? Now you're just being silly.
And no the typical human does not weigh even a hundred kilos, maybe the typical american though.
Did you drunk type?

Honestly don't think 70-100 kilos is that unreasonable for a fantasy human. Especially so when they fight monsters for a living.

Oh, I didn't know her full name. It did make sense from her shorten name.

Sorry about that. Got ticked off because most of the japan character name always ended up with the common names.

We evolving from a cuck chair to a cuck sword... what a time to be alive
I mean, the hero probably never moved on from her, being forced into producing children out obligation to continue the royal bloodline, so while he had to give his body for the kingdom, his heart would always belong to her, and only her.

...Or they already had a kid before the final confrontation with the demon lord, it was never mentioned if she was childless...
