@Xxjuggernaut I mean, Last Girl Wins is a thing that exists, so it's less about the first girl on the scene winning simply because they're first and more because the first girl to appear is who the author decided from the outset would be the main girl; the author then shoves her to the forefront for maximum exposure, while completely ignoring the popularity of all the other girls in the series, as well as who ends up having the best chemistry, stubbornly sticking with their main girl because that's how they envisioned the series.
It's bullshit, especially when the heroine has all the personality of a block of wood, but it's understandable bullshit.
I'm in the minority, but I never got the overwhelming appeal of Raino like some of you guys. So this chapter did nothing for me. If it was Ling Lan in this position instead, then maaaaybe.
