So basically her blessing is "Wonder 4 U" but weaker?

She's actually riding into battle with her troops; leading charges, even. I guess it can't be helped since she needs to earn their trust to build a reliable force from scratch. She says she doesn't have the strength to fight, but manages to score a kill on horseback anyway.

So there we have it, she does have a blessing/ability/skill which is a modest(?) luck buff/debuff combo aura. Given how this seems to work, I now think I'm wrong in expecting her to become a strategist in the rear or a battlefield tactician in the backline, she will most likely have to be in the frontlines to use this power. I honestly think it's reckless for her to keep doing things that way since she knows she's not suited for direct combat, but we'll see how this develops.

Really nice to see the humble spear get its due here. Not often we get to see humanity's oldest weapon used properly instead of just as a punching bag for the flashier sword-wielders.

...but on the flip side of good, here we go again with a so-called "useless power" that is obviously way more powerful than it has any right to be. And she just kept quiet about it on her prior journey?

The Grace power seems like it would be exponentially more powerful with bigger groups, as there are more variables to twist in your favor.

She can't tell her powers iirc
