Bro... imagine this being animated kkkk a god tier first episode
Exactly what I was thinking
Do you know any other break the game manga?I love these "let's break the game with glitches" stories, and making it into a speedrun is just icing on the cake. Hopefully it can keep up this wonderful chaotic energy.
4 pages and only 2 people have questioned the actual story of this. This question is what I immediately asked when he got bit and still pretended like it was a game. This actually ranks this lower than most Isekai, because at least in moments like this is when people realize that it really isn't a game and that it actually is reality. Just off the first chapter, I'm convinced that all of this positivity about this series is more-so people liking the premise and not actually engaging with the story. My question is how did he not know it was real life? He got zombie bitten lol
its the game world and glitches perfectly working so it only means, getting bitten by zombies is the way for the speedrun as he explained so how can u still expect him to find it real? He isnt pretending anything, You gotta read it more carefully. Dont impose your old experiences on isekai like this and want it to be more real. The first problem is you comparing normal isekai to game world isekai if the glitches didnt work he could of questioned the situation but it did work so it means in this isekai world game rules are still present which means getting bitten by zombies is absolutely normal. He didnt even realize he is not in a dream until the end, so why would he worry about zombies he has getting bitten thousands of times and before the zombies he even used skills like side to side walk to skip a tutorial mission or wallglitch.4 pages and only 2 people have questioned the actual story of this. Hopefully it improves, but as far as I'm concerned, this is a failure of a first chapter and a massive indicator that this is just another terrible isekai. Guess I'll find out how correct I am soon.
It's pretty wild that you're telling me to read more carefully when the issues of this chapter is essentially everything you had mentioned. All that you said is "well this is what they told me, so it must be true" with no real thought afterwards if anything makes sense. As soon as he pops into the world, the first thing he thinks is "wow, must be first person" then sprints off. This is dumb and makes him look like an impulsive asshole that refuses to listen. When he gets injured he doesn't think anything of it, and the chapter doesn't explain why and expects us to believe that he still thought it was just a game. This is dumb since a speedrun strat wouldn't take away from actual pain if we are to believe that this game is now his reality.its the game world and glitches perfectly working so it only means, getting bitten by zombies is the way for the speedrun as he explained so how can u still expect him to find it real? The first paragraph explained through, he tought it was a dream and its logical enough. You r treating the story with your knowledge from other stories. There is no implication that says this is his reality or a game so at this point of the story all you can do is "using what u have to comment" which means it looks like a game world which rules apply but he cant return back this doesnt mean this is reality maybe at the end of all this he will wake up and say "oh that was a long dream wtf" in these stories its frustrating to wait until it gets explained i can understand that but your first comment was too offensive without reason (at least to me). There are many other stories which explains the rules or the reason and how he is here later on but u expect to see it at the first chapter. Honestly there are many like that and gives away the premise to you, so you will know what to expect. The problem about the story is he played the game so much apperently and did almost everything he can in it, so he have too many glitches thats why there is no struggle whatsoever just him flexing his speedrunning and making comedy out of it. All i could say feels shallow but i didnt come here with the expectation of a great story since the title is like that. Your issue with the story starts with "reality" but i dont remember anyone saying like that yeah eida said that she summoned him but thats just another cutscene of the game (they give some clues like "ugh maybe its real npc's a little different" but thats all unfortunetaly). Im saying this, just my assumption but i think only his soul came to the game world and his body is still in the real world. Thats why he isnt looking like his real self he is a character and does what a character can do in a game like this. So when he finishes this completely and reach to true ending he will return to the real world, to his body, and do the last glitch he couldnt do before and that will be the ending. Honestly it would feel better if author choose to explain the system behind the situation but not explaining it gives us the chance to speculate some ideas about it until author writes it later or at the end. It's pretty wild that you're telling me to read more carefully when the issues of this chapter is essentially everything you had mentioned. That's really the crux of it though. The author wants both to be true. It is a game world, and it is reality, when those two can't really exist together if you want your story to be taken seriously. Either you make it so it's a game world and he can speed run with unlimited stamina and wall glitches but he isn't sent there so it truly is still just a game, or it is now his reality and it must be treated with the rules of reality but with demons and magic. Cause right now all we have is a series with 0 stakes since our main character can't feel pain and can just glitch all over.
And before anyone jumps down my throat, yes I'm sure there are stories where both game world and reality rules can work together. Personally, Otome Game and New Gate are examples I'd point to. Typically when written though one of the two factors must give leeway, and even in both examples I gave it's typically the game world that gives into reality, if that makes sense. The issue here is that there are no reality rules. Stamina doesn't exist, pain doesn't exist, fatigue doesn't exist. He is unstoppable, but we're supposed to believe that this world is now his reality.
