I kinda see where he's coming from and is it me, or him not reciprocating feels refreshing? Like for once it's not an easy FL/ML falling heads over heels over each other or ML wooing the FL after he whisked her away.

It feels grounded and realistic, especially for a guy who never had any plans for marriage and was planning to stay as a knight. I like the ML
