Damn, I don't how to explain it properly but I just want to say, the way how komari show to kon the photo of Maki & Midori and tell their story behind it.. is so beautiful and nostalgic. It hit me so hard and It feels like I was in a chapter 10 again when Maki & Midori went to trip to komari's hometown. It was a good journey 💕 Thank you for the hard work!

this entire series felt like a dream, like i was captivated from the first panel and when i was done with the last, i looked up to the ceiling and i felt like i was physically dragged back to reality, like waking up from an actual dream. after that comes the ugly sobbing and everything else along with it too, i fuckin love this manga god

to this day, idk why this is getting positive reviews. midori so shitty, maki is an idiot, and midori's child really takes after tazune's arrogance.

so midori played with maki's feelings during high school and then slept with men after HS and got married. if tazune wasnt mistreating her, she wouldn't have left him and maki would've forever been stuck in the past. but she ran back to maki's arms cuz she was conveniently back in her life and it just so happened that her husband is a prick. what a terrible way to be treated, to be someone's second to last choice.

Bawling my eyes out in ‘ere.

Wrapping up the story by changing the whole perspective in the old places, and without even directly showing the MCs is a totally baller move on Battan’s part. I am in love, and seeing how they’ve just launched another serialization, the top-notch storytelling in this one puts the new title at the highest read priority for me.

Also, fuuuuuuck, the writing (stylistically) hits all the right notes. I suspect that’s on the author as well as the TL team’s superior skills. SAD has become a mark of quality in my eyes over the years. I heard that shutter click on the last page.

One of the best down to earth manga I’ve read period. Characters felt like people, and felt like people I could know. Happy to see the ex-husband seemingly got his shit together and is being an active part of Kon’s life.

10/10, will re-read
