I like how the author included this question as a tactless rude question from one of the characters to make a potentially weird line seem more natural. Although it still came across as "by the way, how's your sex life?", lol.

Aoki the Dragonslayer is married to Ryu. Its just they have an apartment and a shrine/cave they have to maintain. Shes government (see Katana Umbrella, Office, Coworker is Ruri's handler as a teacher, she has basically infinite time off for dealing with Ruri's puberty issues) and hes a fairly old dragon so its not like he is a stock market millionaire

Ruri has had to use brainbleach previously to account for mom implying the limits of her stretchiness.
