By the way, since this manga is trying to be serious, is very strange the government allow her to move freely and not confining her is some facility to study her body? No press? No tv? I mean, everyone act really calm like is normal to have a monster girl wandering around among humans, but maybe there is a reason for this we do not know yet.
mmm pretty sure the goverment already know, but the father gently asked for her to be left alone. there's a chance that the mother and teacher are constanstly doing reports on her persona, after all she's pretty much a demi-god given that dragon are pretty much deities in japan. this is my personal theory, i could be proven wrong by the author

Gotta be a solution because I doubt the author has the patience to draw her on fire all the time.
Yes, It is tired, with fire in her horns and eyes, are cool, but not a fun task, maybe will like Rage in inside out, when she is angry will raise her fire

And where is the charmander jokes about her fire and water?

I feel bad for ruri. This is another permanent change she’s going to have to deal with all her life. I hope there’s a way aside from constantly soaking herself in water to control the flames
Oh no!
Puberty is a thing.
This entire manga is about puberty and how it changes you irreversibly, and learning to deal with it.

But for real, teacher catching Ruri at one of her low moments and offering her to isolate herself while pretending to "respect her choice" (while not mentioning any alternatives first) is kinda evil.

Might as well wait for a next trait to appear and offer to euthanize her. "Hey Ruri, I know this set of wings that just manifested had ripped your clothes with the whole class watching, and now you wonder how to live down the shame let alone fit into society, but what if I offer you a way out in form of this .40 cal magnum I conveniently had, the one loaded with anti-dragon explosive rounds (pure coincidence ha-ha, don't overthink it!) and let you end it all right here and right now? C'mon Ruri, clock is ticking, Ruri, just blink if you agree, Ruri, and we'll end it all - the pain, the suffering - just a flash and it will all be gone!"

Ruri is a teen, and teens are already overly sensitive and vulnerable, as an adult you have the responsibility to guide them and show the way to accept themselves and fit into society.

...considering how well he is in the know "isolation" might actually be the go to choice of everyone like her before that so he defaults to that. It would got to lengths explaining how hybrids aren't well known. They are probably rare and usually fuck off into the woods after the third attempted stoning.
Still not exactly something I agree with, as you said the best choice was "put every option on the table first" so she knows her Options.

Goodness. That last panel is so beautifully well-drawn. The details of the fire still burning while being wet just looks so gorgeous. And it could just be the Daemon fire but Ruri looks... Hotter. No pun intended. Like sexier I mean.

I'm sure being a hybrid will somehow grant her the ability to toggle it off. Just needs some explanation like calming herself to a halt or remembering a happy memory, maybe even something simple like eating an ice cream?

I love Ruri, she's trying hard to figure things out and the mother is trying to be as considerate as possible, however I think the rest aren't making sense, she obviously doesn't want to be the center of attention of the whole school, nobody would want that, specially people freaking out and feeling animosity just because you're simply existing.
Kashiro is almost presented as "I don't give a fuck about how you feel or how others feel about you, I want to hang out with you and the others so come on, it's gonna be fun!" that's half good and half selfish and inconsiderate and if that wasn't enough, she ends with "If you don't come up, everyone will feel guilty so you better join us!" huh? WHAT ABOUT NOT CARING ABOUT WHAT THE OTHERS THINK? NOW SHE HAS TO BE CONSIDERATE?

Aaaahh I need to breath, seriously it pisses me off when I try to make sense of all of this because some characters act normally like Aoki despite her situations but others are being selfish, too carefree or then aggressive.
Huh, now that you mention it, there is some twisted logic going on there. "Stop being considerate! You need to be more considerate about how being considerate affects other people!" Not even trying to find a compromise or anything. She just seems outright manipulative to me.

sigh The complications of being a teen on top of not exactly being human, and even more when both complicate the complications. it's like a perfect storm of complication.

The teacher and Ruri's mom really tone down the phenomena Ruri is experiencing. One panel we're on the edge of our seats, wondering what this new found power can potentially be, and then the teacher or her mom go "yeah that's pretty normal for a dragon" ruining the whole build up.

Don't get me wrong, I love Ruri and her cynical takes on the matter, but hearing the same response over and over and over again makes it seem like Ruri is not so special after all. It's only a matter of time before a new dragon appear and maybe we can get something different.

Well, in a second comic they mentioned a whole clinic that somehow has experience with dragons, so yeah, must be the case. At some point they'll have to bring up either her father or other hybrids - at least I don't believe it will all be for nothing.
