@kalton as far as i know, duchy is a name of an independent and sovereign country led by a duke (like luxembourg), while a dukedom is title and a territory within a kingdom which is owned and managed by a duke (like how a british duke own a territory within the united kingdom). So I guess the translation is not wrong
@fdmz that's not really true, for instance the Duchy of Lancaster is within the United Kingdom and under the British Crown and it is known as a Duchy much like the Duchy of York also in Britain
