Is there a name for this genre, where the wish fulfillment is so piled on that the MC immediately gets a stacked girlfriend who cares for him that he has to live with and she loves him even though he has as much flavor as a rice cracker? It's not even suspension of disbelief, the author is just dropping the MC into the endgoal from day fucking one.

Everything about this screams Hitotsuba is actually not a good person and that Taka would be the best thing for Yuuya's life.

He genuinely cares for Yuuya and was about to give Yuuya what Hitotsuba shattered and stomped all over, the ability for Yuuya to be "a normal high-schooler". Regardless of the crap Hitotsuba and her mother say, does anyone really think Yuuya will have a normal life now? That's complete bullshit.

But instead, Hitotsuba cuts Taka out of Yuuya's life. Yuuya knows where Taka lives and can visit? Does anyone think that'll actually happen with him being Hitotsuba's property? The most stable and healthy relationship that Yuuya ever had, shattered because of Hitotsuba.

First there's the stupid idea of pushing debt to a kid like that, but they're thugs, so it's not that out of the question.

Then the thug turns out to be completely reasonable, just having a slightly black job.

Then lawyer shows up and says it's illegal, which is surprisingly reasonable.

Then hippity, hoppity, you're now my property. Wait, what? If the debt is illegal in the first place, then solving it can't make him owe anyone anything except gratitude that's paid in full by saying, "Thank you."

When a manga goes out of its way to say how things don't work one way, and then turn around to make the plot hinge on it. It's like the Quintuplets author all over again.

At least the girl wasn't as stoic as she first appeared.

I know it it's an LN adaptation, but at this point I prefer to read the novel directly after seeing monologue in every other page.
At some point, the protagonist said "Yikes, Taka-san is already staggering with tears in his eyes" in a panel where we can clearly sees that. It's a shame because the art is pretty good.
