and she prbly expelled him cause she wanted to keep him safe but then later her saves her and shes suprised cause she tried to tell him to leave but he kills the thing she couldnt.
Between the cover art that reminds me of Arifureta and the fact that the picture with his blessing had a gun like some others mentioned, I’m guessing his blessing only activates with weapons above a certain technology level, ex: modern weapons of war or maybe just combustion-based weapons in general.
Maybe I’m just reading too into the similarities between his appearance on the cover and Haijime from Arifureta, but I’m guessing he’ll get trapped in a dungeon or something, go through hell, then find a gun either on the ground or as a reward, and his blessing will activate. A gunslinger protagonist could be interesting, so I hope they go that route instead of how the translation makes it seem, where he’s just a master of “weapons” that can use whatever he wants.
Seems like that will happen, he’ll sacrifice himself or something, fall to a lower layer and the party will think him dead. Come back alive, and well, lets see how that goes.
Can't believe this got a manga adaptation. I read the WN from time to time when I remember it exists, and frankly, it's not that bad, but you can tell the author is a total amateur, especially during the first few arcs, which have a bit of random stuff happening from time to time. (That being said, I'm not fully up to date)
One thing I really like about this story (well, the WN, as I haven't read the LN)
is that there isn’t really a "villain" in the main circles, including the FMC's party and the MC’s side. Yes, there are misunderstandings, drama, and mistakes, but no one is truly evil. Take Robin from the FMC’s party, who’s a cinnamon roll, or even Reynold, who might raise some eyebrows at first but is honestly a decent dude who gets shit done; someone who would be the MC in another story, for example. The only character I’d call a bitch is Piazolla, but you get used to her over time, and she has her reasons for being the way she is.

correct me if i'm wrong, the FMC doesn't seem that nice if what i read from novelupdate description is true
i mean, it literally says she tricked the MC into going to the forest where a dragon lives and it literally almost killed him
(tbh not really a spoiler, it's literally the LN synopsis)
also, is there even a romance between the 2? considering how messed up it is that FMC almost killed the MC

It was completely unintentional. The FMC did not know that there was a dragon living there. That being said, she never came clean about it until later when his mind has already been made up that she tried to kill him.
That being said, why is that these guys are always so quick to banish/expel the friend but never delegate them to another part of the team? She definitely isn't evil but she is definitely not nice to the MC during his lowest moments.
As we saw in this chapter, she gets on him for being useless and getting in the way. It ultimately turns out that she would cry herself to sleep at night for her behavior towards the MC only to berate him again the next day. Rinse and repeat.
What hurts about this is that later, the FMC's clan starts recruiting people of the same rank the MC was when he was kicked out of the team and helps them train and get stronger.

i completely agree on this part, there's a title that i read where the companion actually parted way nicely saying "you can't keep up higher rank dungeon anymore, and we're your friend and we don't want you to die" plot, and that title MC understand his companion meant, it was such a fresh read (shame that i forgot the title already since it seems the title is no longer translated currently)

She didn’t trick him; she genuinely wanted to help, but nobody could’ve predicted things would go down the way they did.
The MC eventually comes to terms with that, but what happens right after is what he sees as the real betrayal and what truly hurt him, but I’ll leave it at that since it will be covered soon enough. But she’s not a bad person.
Like I said, there are no villains here; just two very flawed teenagers who couldn’t handle the situation they were put in, which sadly nearly had lethal consequences and resulted in a broken friendship.
And yes, after the MC mellows out and they start building a relationship—not as childhood friends, since that bond was broken, but as adventurers; they go to share some serious crazy-ass sexual tension at times. In fact, something to note is that the MC and FMC share almost equal story time, with chapters alternating between their POVs throughout entire whole arcs, so you do get to see a lot of the FMC, and her mindset / regrets.

She’s aware of this. In fact, she calls herself out in front of Reynald and the others when they realize how well her clan’s teams are growing, realizing they could’ve taken this path with the MC, which becomes another part in her huge list of regrets.
That’s what makes this story so enjoyable, in my opinion. The characters are flawed, but as they grow, they start to see their own mistakes and how much they failed in their actions. That’s why I’m hoping this manga survives long enough to reach Hijiri’s battle, even if it ends with Sasha’s bloodied, broken body after losing, because it’s a turning point for her after Hijiri calls her out on how she’s handling her clan, and how she sees herself and her past actions. (Also, because Hijiri is great lol)
So, the way skills are normally learned in this world is that they tell you how it is used after figuring out what it is. I can't say for sure based on what little I've seen, but I get the feeling the world generally looks down on those who can't use their skills. So, people are belittling those that they themselves can't tell what they need to do.

the way you talk about this story makes me curious why no one even picked up the WN at all, since i can't find any group translating the novel and it's even funnier that some groups actually translate actual dog revenge porn novel that are pretty awful
though i do have to say
i'm also finding it weird why she couldn't just stay with him after he came back unconscious after the dragon thing, which the MC pointed out and make absolute sense if she really care about him
There is literally a gun in the skill window so it's no wonder nobody have any idea what it is. How is he gonna figure it out though since even firearms as a concept doesn't exist?
It looks decent enough so i find it suprising that noone picked up the WN. It doesn't even have a novelupdates page. Is it because it doesn't have LN adaptation yet?
So for WN readers, i'm hoping there is no romance involving these 2. What is the current status?
No, he uses modern weapons, but in a wonderful way, and it is also written in a language different from the language of the people of the world in which he is located.

There is a person named Nobunaga, he is a person from another world and he had the same ability as the protagonist. This person existed a thousand years before the protagonist, but he left a note and the protagonist found it.
Really? you know what a sword master meant but not weapon master? In the span of 2 years you didn't consult any other knowledgeable person? No conducting test to determine what kind of skill/job it was? You read weapon master as uepon master but not sword master as suord master?

Actually, the hero is a very wonderful person, but this girl and her team are trash. The unfortunate thing is that the writer is not an amateur, he has many works already.
