the manga didn't mentioned it for some reason
but Sasha and co. actually went on a mission when she found out about the gathering spot and it was only recently the guild found out that is the ancient dragon bathing spot and she didn't know because you know, she was on a quest

There are no edgy stuff in this series
The WN is surprisingly a fun read. Its more about broken relationship and the road the fix what has been destroyed.

As far as Im reading now, they are slowly recovering their relationship but there is still a gap between them that is just hard to fix. Hyce is slowly trying to open back up from being anti social and Sasha is slowly easing up from being too serious.

i would say as well, it's not only that Hyce losing all form of trust of her is the only real eye opener, but when she got called out that she used to lash out at hyce for not growing stronger is also an eye opener for her and 2 members of her team being a dick to Hyce didn't help (one isn't that big of a jerk, one is an actual bitch)

Not very actually. They timeskip past all the edgy parts and straight into the part where they meet again after a year or two. From there it’s a gradual journey of the two reconciling over their dreams and regrets

So much could be avoided if they didn't try to put up a show to kick him of the party... She could just go straight to him and say: "You have a death wish going in like that when you know you can't handle it. We are going to be doing harder stuff now, please go home because I don't want to see you die." Or something in those lines, and then they could talk about it and reach a conclusion that doesn't seem like a betrayal.

well, there's a reason for that though, at least this one is a bit make sense than other title that are "revenge" plot, this one isn't revenge story

Kinda just uninterested given how the power seems to work. Also while a fesh take on the trope, it feels even more forced than usual. Mate if they viewed you as dead weight they woukd not have sent you somewhere with an ss monster, but just let you die in a cave where you belong.
Reminder that he spent a good amount of time harassed and insulted simply because he was kicked out of a party. He was already near his breaking point
In fact, there is no home for him to return to, they are both orphans, and all the villagers are dead, and Sasha knows this, so she abandons him, even after what happened to him. She will say that she was not wrong to throw him out, but in Chapter 15, in the Fourth Labyrinth, she will see for herself that if she had not thrown him out, he would have woken up on his own blessings
