I can understand his distrust. Why not hire him to do administrative work? Be at the rear, rather than the front (which is what he was already doing)? This, on top of the fact it appears he was partially kicked out because two of the members were banging, and they obviously didn't want to make things awkward with MC, it's no wonder he is beyond suspicious.

All this, BEFORE the mc is mistakenly sent to an extremely dangerous area that he should have not come back from, by the very people who just kicked him out.

ugh... most of the issues here would've been resolved had they not being retarded and actually communicated properly.
Instead of telling MC-kun properly that they are worried for his safety which is why they cannot allow him to continue being in the party, Sasha made it about the title and reward, made the other dude tell him he is unneeded and allowed rumors go around in the guild due to the nasty nature of the expulsion.

They gave him a safe job of item collection- but he felt like he isn't doing enough. Instead of communicating the importance of that, as he kept getting to danger, Sasha both didn't allow others to help carry the items, and she rejected the need for item collection (only the whatever item from the snake is important, leave all the other drops out), making the item carrying job more of a punishment then a necessity.
Moreover, the party itself didn't form around him being weak. Where should he stay during combat? Why did he move away from his position? What makes him think he can do stuff during combat against a super strong enemy?? His job is to provide items to the party, collect items from monsters, and hide so that he will not be in danger and risk the other party members.
He has a 'Master' skill, why kick him out instead of letting him SAFELY research his skill??

Not only that, but for a party that is just about an A-rank, to not know information about breeding grounds of some mega-super-duper strong monster, but know the type of flora that grows there...? the fuck is even that. And, the idea that once MC-kun is kicked out of an elite party, he ends up collecting leaves as if he doesn't have any experience of being an adventurer, any experience in his role in combat, and knowledge about items and tactics and locations and whatever... that just dumb. Other parties should try to recruit him simply based on the fact that he has a lot of knowledge and experience from that party.

This is dumb and I'm angry. :qq:
I can understand you being angry.
A lot of drama because the protagonists don't have the time to talk to each other. But to be fair, you have to start somewhere to get the story moving. In another manga there was a similar situation (even with the lesbian party member) but the prerequisites here are much better. If the manga follows the WN, the misunderstanding will be cleared up pretty fast because the guild master is also the former teacher of the two and tells Hyze. Though he somehow gets that it wasn't intentional it doesn't change the fact that he has a trauma (he lost an eye and it makes it hard for him to trust people) and that he still has some doubts about the story because the party left the capital while he was still unconcious without apologizing/ clearing up the misunderstanding. The distrust/hatred toward his former party is a trauma, becomes his driving force and isn't always logical (like all traumas), e.g. during Sasha's apology he is afraid of being attacked by Robin, who was against his banishment till the end.
There's a time leap during which both have become S class adventurers and she finally apologizes (before she didn't have the courage to face him) and he points out the real reason why he is angry (imo): she banished him to achieve their shared dream (becoming the strongest team) alone but she didn't get that this was meaningless if he was left out. She unilaterally banished him because he was weak ignoring his feelings. He's aware of this and points it out.
Even later on when their relationships improves he still doesn't forgive his former team for banishing him. He acknowledges the fact that he became stronger due to their actions (actually, he became the strongest because his hate is a driving force for him, which makes it difficult for him to let go of this hate) but he doesn't forgive them because everything turned out well in the end. He knows that they couldn't have known that he would awaken his powers and that he would become stronger (because of his hatred on his former team). During the WN they actually talk about these points. They all (even the other party members) know and accept the fact that they betrayed him (even if they had good intentions).

As for him going solo collecting herbs: After his banishment he's initially perceived as weak (there are also some rumors about his banishment) and he tries to improve. Thus, he starts training again under his former teacher (Geist, the guild master) using the means he has (martial arts), becoming gradually stronger (number of goblin exterminations) on his own speed. Even after his awakening he continues training. As the only person he trusts is himself (that's why he is a solo adventurer), he constantly tries to improve himself not solely relying on his weapon master. By honing his martial arts skills he is able to beat many opponents even without his ability.

As I said, I understand your anger but it will become better. The characters have some depth and talk about things. If it follows the WN it isn't one of these stories where misunderstanding are dragged on and in the end the banished person forgives everything because it turned out for the better. They actually accept failures they've made, try to repent for their actions, work on their relationships and try to create new bonds without forgetting about the past. It could be hard to transfer all these things into a manga (because it takes a lot of time) but let's hope for the best.

While I'm not thrilled this is picked up by GD Scans and they will surely take a couple months to a year before updating this again, I do like the story so far, so I'll patiently wait for more to be posted.

It won't turn out like this (at least I hope so). In the WN the story switches between the MC (Haise) and the FMC (Sasha). They don't become antagonist but rivals. They go different ways but try to reach the same goal in the end. On the way the meet again and again. Both grow and develop a new relationship.

In fact, there is no home for him to return to, they are both orphans, and all the villagers are dead, and Sasha knows this, so she abandons him, even after what happened to him. She will say that she was not wrong to throw him out, but in Chapter 15, in the Fourth Labyrinth, she will see for herself that if she had not thrown him out, he would have woken up on his own blessings
The fourth labyrinth doesn't show her what would have happened. Actually, this scene shows her biggest regret.
First, she's shown the banishment from a 3rd person perspective and you can see how she regrets banishing him and the way she did it.
Then the labyrinth shows her how Hyce endured hardships while she was avoiding him after the dragon incident and how is personality became darker due to this.
The third vision she has is not reality but the thought that torments her the most: What could have happened if she hadn't banished him. It's not reality but an illusion (Trial of Illusion) to break her.
Even though she knows that he probably just became stronger because of this event she still regrets to the very moment. She hates her immature, impatient past self for banishing him and is tormented by a possible future where he still awakened his powers and where they could have remained childhood friends and team Sacred.
She accepts Hyce's banishment as a reality she did in the past (and thus his grudge), a decision she made at this moment with her knowledge and personality at that moment. Hyce does the same.

What software do you use to translate the Web Novel?
I think most browsers like firefox or chrome do it on their own. Often confuses singular/plural and the pronouns but with a bit of logical thinking it's easy to get it.

I see, I have recently been trying to translate with the free version of chatgpt, it translates pretty well except that from time to time I have to remind it to only translate and not do anything else.

No redemption for her. Even if she didn't know, he trusted her and would have paid for it with his life if he was any normal person. Intentions do not matter at this point. Not saying he should take revenge, but you shouldn't keep people like that in your life
