1 banish her childhood orphan friend who is currently fucking weak but has "master" skill
2 gaslighting her that banishing him is the right choice to keep him alive (it's not he is a weak orphan with zero power and will likely doing something stupid solo)
3 gaslighting her into thinking he did nothing wrong (no she did everything wrong indirectly of course but still wrong, rumors spreading, didn't check if the area is safe for fuck is sake you're A class adventure
4 For some fucking reason make her not immediately apologize? What the fuck you almost got someone killed and he even lost a fucking eyes wtf is wrong with you people the last you fucker can do is wait for his recovery and just said sorry about the rumors and sending you to your dead
No wonder that mc is fucking mad in his pov he literally feels like being betrayed AND HE GOT BETRAYED BY HIS CHILDHOOD FRIENDS THAT HE LOVES, SHE IS LITERALLY HIS LIGHT THE ONE BESIDES HIM WHEN HE LOSS EVERYTHING (and technically he is also her lights that is why she can't never move on), misunderstood or not not only she leave him alone she is also marching him to his death, he is still a teen that must be fucking traumatizing and not only that THEY LEAVE HIM AGAIN WITHOUT APOLOGIZING, I genuinely doesn't give a fuck about misunderstanding you almost got someone killed throw your pride away and apologize but nuuh we need better shit to do.

My thoughts on each character
I hate the mc a little bit because I think he will be some edgyboy but no he is pretty chill as long as you don't bring out fmc and her party, because well HE IS FUCKING TRAUMATIZED, near death experience do that to you. But overall he is just afraid to make a new bond (classic, so he doesn't need to feel betrayed again) bu he actually doesn't mind a companion, just don't talk about S-word and you are fine, dude is a virgin and pretty simple deep down
Femc god-damned you come straight from romcom series you didn't have glasses yet you seems to be blind of why mc doesn't seems to want to be with you and never accept your apology, looks at your left you get a thirsty nun that loves you looks at your right you got a guy that want to be inside you, it's not only about you. And for someone who ready to abandoning her friend to keep him alive it's weird seeing you so obsessed with apologing, aren't you content with him being alive even thou it's cost will make him hate you?, well fuck he is now one the strongest mutherfucker alive and will probably alive. it's more of the latter, i read it out of curiosity since someone told me "nah, this series isn't edgy, it's different from the mass produced revenge story back then when the genre is still popular", and after reading it, i find it quite interesting, i still won't call it my favorite series, but i do think it's quite good

It's not uncommon as there's even a manga about this trope But from the PoV of the people who kicked the OP protagonist. It matches this story very well. From the reasoning of the kicking to one party member even wanting to wait it out to the misunderstandings etc etc.
I honestly hope the misunderstanding isn't cleared up and goes edglord. Full gun grave or some shit. No harem no slaves just a man and his gun hunting monsters for fame and fun. Hope his ability is like the one in wild arms
