The inexperience was in declaring his weaknesses firmly to talk his way out of it.He knows his limits and dangers of his blessing, so I wouldn't say that he is overall inexperienced, but he is inexperienced in escorting and fighting in a party.
I think it’s less him wanting to go back, and more that he’s just remembering what he thought were good times but were actually a lie and precursor to betrayal. So even his good memories have been tainted. What’s interesting is how sad and lingering regret he has about everything
It understandable why he can’t forgive her but he still misses those times they had together. I think deep down he wish he could go back but knows he can’t

Her side is definitely understandbleI really don't care for the hate the OG party is getting they seem like nice people (or most). In the first chapter Reynold (the shield guy) kept checking up on him to make sure he was okay, he tried to stick up for him saying he "-just can't use his abilities yet." and not to let it get to him when he was feeling angst-y, and worried when Hyce ran in and almost got himself murdered by a snake.
Robin, the archer girl also really wanted to help Hyce carry his stuff and was against kicking him out (For the healer girl she seems kinda mean/sassy to everyone and the support cast doesn't really say much). As for Sasha I don't blame her for removing him from the party, she literally just watched him almost get himself killed and it seems like he's been struggling for awhile. My guess is she figured the only way to protect him was through some tough love since without some reader hindsight he could disobey orders and get himself killed at any moment now that they're fighting even stronger stuff. As for the SS+ dragon she was just trying to help him in his adventuring and was a victim of plot induced stupidity from the writer.

The crux of the problem starts here. You don't break up with your friend like that. Regardless of what happened with the dragon afterwards, regardless of the fact she couldn't protect him, you don't do that telling him he is only dragging the team down. It will tear your friendship at best and traumatize at worst. If she really was an old friend, she should have known better than anyone else what this would cause. My guess is she figured the only way to protect him was through some tough love

it's later revealed through flashbacks that sasha basically verbally abused him after every mission and called him useless to his face, the healer girl also did too, she had ulterior motives though, cause she is in love with sasha and saw him as in her way, reynold ultimately wanted him out for the same reason as the healer girl
The best part about Sasha verbally abusing him everyday was that she would later cry herself to sleep at night asking why she would say those things only to do it again the next day. She would continue doing this until she kicked him out from the party.
it's not exactly time-skip, this is supposed to happen after last chapter, but they skipped a bit part from the novelBack to back time skips, eh? Now who's going to share a glass with him. I can't imagine that it's his childhood friend right? Her communication skills are awful.

So, what you're saying is...The best part about Sasha verbally abusing him everyday was that she would later cry herself to sleep at night asking why she would say those things only to do it again the next day. She would continue doing this until she kicked him out from the party.
