She tried, failed, and gave up. Can't say that anyone else would do much better; mc thinks that she tried to kill him, and he doesn't seem like he's going to let that go, even after 4 years. But, still, she probably should have tried a bit harder: When the Mc collapsed she should have taken advantage of that, i.e. being there when he awakes and apologizing very profusely.
For your information, she doesn't think she made a mistake in expelling him. She said that in the novel. There are also those who did better than her in the novel, like Eclipse. She had to try to fix the relationship herself, but all she does in the novel is flirt and have romantic dates with Rynold.

Pretty much this. That is why, while she is competent as an adventurer, she is a failure as a friend which Hyce should had focused his resentment in.

Also again people in the comments, nonchalantly saying stuff they read from the webnovel, even saying "Oh I read the novel, I think ___ is a traitorous snake" Is also a spoiler, because you are giving out a trait describing the character when they haven't been shown yet, while the manga will not follow the novel 1:1 regardless you guys really just HATE using the spoiler feature.

While I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for the series and the story.

Again, if it is not covered by the existing chapters that are out at the moment, use a spoiler tag, if you are making an opinion, based on content or events that was also not covered in the manga yet, use a spoiler tag,

So, eh, question: Why did he not search other parts of the region for the flower and returned with another one of them? Is it growing only in one single place, the one that was ruined by this fucked up dragon-ish thing?

Why do I keep coming back to this? No one communicates with anyone else. I get being standoffish, but not to the point where people are actively misunderstanding you and a few minutes of conversation would clear things up. I'm not even talking about the MC & FMC, I'm talking about the MC and the elf.
Average office worker experience... Everyone is talking some shit and nobody really communicates. And then everyone is pissed because the other didn't understand/receive the information. And in case you try to avoid it, everyone is offended because "you're rude and unprofessional". I can't tell you just how many times I felt the urge to just answer with a mail containing "go fuck yourself" or "learn to properly express what you want or leave me alone". :dogkek:

I'm going to bet against everybody and say that they are going to clear the quest by themselves. Their group seems to have more members than before, so I'm throwing a wild guess and say that FMC is going to save the day (she's also S-rank) and she's going to protect and mentor the new members correctly. She's doing everything she should have done with MC. As she can't apologize to him, she's changing her ways.
Honestly, FMC doesn't look like the typical incompetent who will lead her party to doom. She just has no communication skills but her skills as an adventurer seem legit.
Plus I don't see MC helping them as he is right now in the first place, even if the guild master asked him to.
Those members are just the royal kids

No, she definitely has communication skills. There was no way that she was going to have any level of conversation with mc after the "incident".
I mean... she could just have stayed by his side until he woke up, ask for forgiveness and paid reparations, is that simple. Maybe he would still be mad yes, but she would've done her job. The fact that he has not gone directly to kill her after that incident shows that there's room for discussion

"Maibe Spoilers about the next chapters:
I really hope the manga/LN skips or at least shortens the Sacred or Sasha parts, because if not, the next 3~5 chapters will only be Sasha and her group doing the Quest. The WN is a story of 2 Cores, one of Haise and another of Sasha/Sacred, and the story time is almost 60% Haise and 40% for Sasha/Sacred... and a large part of that 40% is a pain in the ass...

I read the wn, piazola is a bitch
Nah

More advanced spoilers from WN

she wanted to keep Haise away just so she could have a chance with Sasha(Yes, she Likes Sasha too), just like the other guy there who was a member of Sacred also wanted to keep Haise away, it wasn't just because he was weak, but they would have more chances with Sasha, I remember showing this thought of theirs somewhere in WN... and Piazola, from what I was told, might join Haise's Harem, because they are getting along very well, when I stopped reading WN (around chapter 300) they were already getting along.
