@breizh what use of armor when you have strong scales that surpass the armor?
besides using armor indeed restrict her movement, while Shield (for her) is not...
she cannot run easily with full armor on, but with just the shield, she still can run while doing defense move....
and the shield is also a weapon, with her strength and speed, getting 'shield bash' from her is like getting hit by Truck-kun on full speed....

@Nematoda for how strong she is armor will not slow her down cause it ain't gonna be nearly as thick or big as thee sword or shield., some armor to protect her skin from the enviroment and other things. Dragon Newts are still weaker than dragons and susceptible to human problems. I

While this is hilarious, she needs to be taught how to use it, or at least that one edge is sharp. If not, then she's liable to accidentally cut someone (or herself), or just break the sword in two (since swords are weaker when hit from the side).
