I really love that Valacirca is genuinely just following his desires and embracing what he is. The physical embodiment of desire and carnage, a dragon. I also like how much William is excited even though they all walked into that knowing they'd probably end up dead.

in case you did not get it, dragons here are no humble creatures who desire peace. The dragon was just testing his wit with a riddle, to see how he answers.
The dragon will still fight against them no matter what he says though, because that's its nature, and that can't be changed from just talking.

Anw, every answers will lead to their demise either way, this answer just makes the dragon acknowledge them and allows them to actually fight against it like heroes.

Nah, if he just accept the deal then the dragon will make peace 'with him', it said as such so it will uphold that much.

The trick is that peace applies to only with Will nothing else so it'll stir up trouble some way some how without breaking its words.
It'll have its war, it doesn't matter if it's doing it by Will's side or someone else much like how it was once on the good gods' side.

I like the Dragon quite a lot, I guess I like villains who are straight forward and honest, and aren't sadistic in the "edgy" way. My dragon dude just wants some killing, sacrificed maidens, and treasure at the end of it.

Maybe I also like him because he's a great hype-man, I'm really looking forward to the battle chapters.

That was absolutely epic.

The paneling and moodiness of the dragon's colour scheme added so SO much to the tense atmosphere and build up.

The dynamic panelling itself of course also doing a ton of heavy lifting, between saihate and the one within the villainess, we're eating so incredibly good for vivid art work that has its layout add heaps of layers to every story the artists adapt.

And will! Sweet baby boy will! God has he come along well being able to out banter a world shaking nightmare fuel calamity of a dragon. And impress the dragon too! Gosh if actual like.... Adversarial respect in this type of story doesn't half feel rare. Will genuinely did come up with some exceptionally clever answers for a dragon enjoying pointing a magnifying class at the insignificant ants in front of it.

I'm so proud of how far every character has taken themselves in this story, and what they've been through to make it to this point. I just hope they all make it out in one piece. Maybe that's naive to think they could do that considering their opponent.

Damn this was such a cool chapter. Just a chad paladin vs a chad dragon. The Dragon being cunning and Will being smart enough to realise that he couldn't outwit him in the long run. Now we wait for the physical fight!

This is not a story about the end, it's about the journey.
Will's human, he will grow old and die even if he never fight, that's 'still death, just slower'.

Even the dragon doesn't mind dying, but he will go out in style-HIS style.
As he said it "I shall be equally glad to be slain, and my name carried to the end of the world"

The significance is in how you live, the choices you make.
The dragon will live following its ideal of a dragon.
It said what it wanted: War, Catastrophe, Feats of Valor, Maidens Sacrifice, Treasures, Deaths, HEROES

A different way to interpret the whole conversation has been the dragon asking 'can you entertain me (are you heroes)? or do I have to use you to make my own entertainment (start wars, cause catastrophes)'
