I need this to go back to Ivy & Sora & Cat wandering already, because this "let's stop the people kidnapping kids" plot isn't nearly as interesting as the author thinks it is.

A massive conspiracy slave trading plot doesn't quite fit a SoL story. It's a high-tension plot in a low-tension story written with low tension. I can see what the author is thinking about it, but it's too disconnected from the greater narrative to fit properly IMO.

It's just my opinion, so don't take it to heart. For me, it was worth the first part, but like I said in comments before, the ending is very rushed, and many parts of the story in the novel and manga don't show.

The art is amazing, and the story is also good, but unfortunately, it can't be amazing because of the rushing ending and amazing anime being shown at that time, like Frieren, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Solo Leveling, Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete, Mashle S2, and many other amazing out at that time.

Of course, this is just my opinion. This needs to be said 2 times because I don't want to be in arguments with some fans.

Does the ending from the anime use the ending from the LN or ending from another vol? If its from the LN i won't watch it then, i already fell in love with the manga and want to follow the pace without any spoilers

Yes, the ending results are the same, but it was rushed. Very rush. Look at this manga that needs many a chapter to solve the case, but for the anime, 3 or 2 episodes only. In the LN, after the end of this case, MC stays for a little more time in this city and has many scenes to read, but for the anime, it was rush make MC go out of the city.
