all arcs will probably be as drawn out unless the manga cuts things shorter because the light novel is genuinely so far ahead (we are on vol 2 of LN in manga out of 11).
All arcs genuinely show Itsukis growth from commoner to someone many in the privileged achool genuinely respect, plus a lot of romantic and comedy moments, so personally ill stick through with everything because i genuinely liked the light novel (though Itsuki’s utter density is always annoying). I also actually liked the drama, of course some was unnecessary and some caused by misunderstandings, but the ones that actually challenge itsuki and force him to face titans in the school (former council president, son of a political figure, brother of asahi who supports another student council president candidate etc.) while working together with the girls, shizune and his own cultivated skills are genuinely fun and tense to read. Especially because they put him in legitimately difficult positions that youd think hed never escape from.
Its somewhat political with a lot of underhanded manipulation though, so if that isnt your cup of tea then it isn’t unnatural to drop it. But imho the light novel was really good if that counts for anything. The author also never forgets to add romance in every chapter in some way or another
