Sorry bout that, I won't ever put tl notes again.my favorite part of the chapter have to be the tl notes
The answer was so damn obvious: accept Marika's offer -> secure food, a bed and tuition -> help Hinako at school -> same result, but without crimes!Narika not abusing the Situation to get Itsuki to live with her again, kinda heartwarming, though i bet she will (kinda) regret it later. xd
Did you know that narika and itsuki are at best 2nd degree cousins? Not that it matters alot lolI'll keep that in mind😔
Istg Am I crazy or this girl looks like an evil version of Selnia From "ladies vs butler" ?DRILL HAIR OJOU SAMA CHAPTER WHENNNN?
Fun fact. I know the tl/n said they couldn't find anything about the ideom when they googled ..but you find a lot of stuff about it when you google it@asphyxiav2 Regarding the whole "giving salt to my enemy" thing, the TL;DR is that it means to help a rival/opponent/enemy and comes from a story about Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen during the Warring States era of Japan; the two had a very famous rivalry and they reportedly highly respected one another.
Anyway, as the story goes, the Hojo clan cut off the Takeda's supply of salt (which was used as a seasoning and preservative, the latter of which would be far more important at war), so Kenshin sent Shingen a shipment of salt, saying "Wars are meant to be won with swords and spears, not rice and salt" (i.e., on the battlefield, not through starvation).
Whether it actually happened or not is up for debate, but that's the gist of it; Narika sent help (MC) to her rival, Hinako, so she gave salt to her enemy.
Fortunately for him that’s was in japan and not in the us because the guard would have shoot him 🤣And then he was arrested for trespassing xD
