The answer was so damn obvious: accept Marika's offer -> secure food, a bed and tuition -> help Hinako at school -> same result, but without crimes!
yeah i thought for sure he was going to ask narika to take him in like she offered before, she secures tuition for him as her butler this time, he assembles the study group and informs them of hinako's declining physical condition and fainting (though maybe leaving out the reason behind it w/ her acting) and then they all work together to help her out in some respect. this way it shows that letting her be somewhat genuine at school without airs doesn't equal loss in reputation as the dad fears, the other kids from distinguished families are willing to stick their neck out for her sake, including the ojou-sama from a family of the same pedigree as hinako's, which shows that letting her have genuine connection without a facade may in fact help the company rather than hinder. changing the dad's mind is only gonna work if they approach it from a business perspective, appeals to emotion (which mc will probably try and fail at until hinako throws a tanty or something and the dad changes his mind for no reason, sigh) should not work in this instance based off what we know of his personality. if his bottom line isn't affected he shouldn't give a shit
assaulting the guards is lowkey insane and it's not like the dad blamed him for the 3 second rule slip up. yes the guy's a massive dick to his daughter but antagonising him is stupid and won't fix anything especially when they parted on kinda good terms. the dad is so close minded that he'll just go "pitiful commoner kid doesn't know how the world works" in the best case and shoo him off the property
