I dunno, maybe I take this thing too seriously. Maybe I have consumed too much korean and chinese manga, where they don't really believe in the power of friendship, forgivness and such.

But I would absolutely kill this girl. The others who came before were actually ok, goofy / silly / not all that bad / redeemable.

This one is just a psycho. Not even Naruto can Talk-no-jutsu her....

IDGAF if she's doing all this because deep down she's just a lonely girl like this manga keeps implying, she literally got Toma KILLED and chooses to keep manipulating people for her own selfish reasons, she's such an extreme narcissist she's actually lethal. Toma's little "I'll be your first friend!" speech is just enabling. It's one thing to forgive misguided girls that have tried to hurt him and his friends but couldn't actually do any real damage, it's another thing to enable someone who has literally gotten you killed and is telling you they're trying to do the same thing again in this life. Man went from the epitome of self respect and trust in his friends to a doormat happy to expose his friends to actual danger for one legitimately psychotic girl in a single chapter. Kinda killed it for me NGL :shamihuh:

Touma, by all means, you SHOULD HOLD A GRUDGE AGAINST HER!
It's because of her that you died and now she's trying to ruin your life yet again! She will overcome the boundaries of time and space to make sure you have a miserable life, you should definitely hold a grudge against her and KILL HER WHEN YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO!!!

I hate it SO MUCH when the protag is just like "oh I never held a grudge even though you were an absolute b$tch to me and were the very thing you swore to destroy."

Get mad! Riot! Do something, but don't just be a doormat. 🤦
I've started treating doormat protagonists as exaggerated characters, like Mr Bean or Philomena Cunk. Basically they exist to fulfill a comedic role by pretending to be serious over stupid things, makes it way more tolerable.
So long as you know to laugh at them and not with them.

Maybe I'm overthinking this but, what if she was trying to separate him from his friends because she was/is in love with him and they were horrible people trying to get into her pants? Maybe his death was an accident caused by those guys and after his dead they didn't care about his death, They kept trying to date her.

Are we even sure she was pushing them to kill him in his original world? I mean she's absolutely a problem now that needs to be stopped but someone being willing to push their 'friend' in front of a car/bus/whatever seems more of a problem than a girl flirting with people, and just because she's clearly evil and needs to be put down now doesn't mean she was as psychotic originally

Ok so you broke mine and my friends hearts which potentially led to my death, now you have trained a elite group of bitches to do the same; which has reeked chaos and death upon many party's all to satisfy your selfishness and narcissistic goals.
More over you have just turned up in front of me and bragged about it and how you're going to destroy me in the future.
"LAMO the past is the past, let's be friends!"

Thanks everyone at BLUTOONS for the translation

lol everyone acting like she was the one who pushed him into traffic and Touma should kill her for it
anyway I like the literal darkness surronding her and how he fights back with a holy aura, what is this? the legend of izanami and izanagi?

Near certain she was hurt by a 'playboy' or some other false-faced guy, and wanted to prove that Touma's kindness here (before he died) was false. HIs death probably reinforced her thoughts before she somehow died. She's going to keep trying to break him until she breaks down and realizes she's wrong or she dies realizing she's wrong, and I know that second option is almost impossible due to tone.

I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna over analyze ecchi comedy schlock again, ma.

I think it may all come down to the execution. Thus far, authorman has kept me relatively engaged via the somewhat unique premise and the Boys being endearing.

But we've all seen the "No, I will save you no matter what!! Even from yourself!!" cliche countless times already, and the party crusher queen here doesn't exactly give off redeemable vibes (which will likely be unsatisfyingly remedied through a dramatic, tragic flashback to her past, I'll put money on it.)

I'm not the biggest fan of "ULTRA GORY REVENGE AS I GO BACK IN TIME TO TURN THEM INTO MY SLAVES" stories, but one thing that kinda junk food usually understands is that barring being an absolute, 100% genuine saint, most people are gonna have a bone to pick over being done dirty like that. You're stretching the suspension of disbelief to a nanometer in width here to tell me that Toma here doesn't have a single iota of anger or irritation at what occurred.

Is this man still simping that hard?

To pull this off, they're going to have to find that right balance of catharsis and Toma's drive to tomodachi these women, which is shockingly hard to make audiences, especially manga readers, cotton to.
