it's always fascinating to see how simple it is made, that ppl take the villains side; because it seems that noone every bothers to ask the alleged bully if its true. most logical thinking people would ask first if that what they heard about it is true...
Yea, like they really don't care about evidence at all. The villain got no bruised skins or dirty clothes, only trauma like act. The girl is a golden child and the villain is still so so, not much promising trait I know to my understanding, and the father just dump her like that. XD

First, i want to apologize for the rant i will be writing. Your comment really makes me want to rant in agreement to you.

Now, imagine the Intelligent and Kind girl suddenly went to a girl that bully her sister... Any sane person would think "why did that sweet girl suddenly became like that"

If i really want to think of an answer to that, i could think a few. For example, these story usually have the dad away from the place most of the time so their only info about what happen is from the staff in the mansion. If the "shit" take control of the staff (that usually like to gossip or is jealous for what the mc had since usually this MC doesn't really interact with the staff, only does what the family asked or expect her to do), then all the dad and probably the brother heard is all the bad that they heard from others, not from their own eyes. Not only that, since the info came from multiple people and every one in the staff knows it, they probably think "It's unbelievable, but it must be true"

Now, that in it self is stupid. What kind of ruler or noble that doesn't have a single person they could trust to oversee what happen in the house where any (and i mean any) miss info could lead to the whole house got taken over by rival house by either embezzlement or covert transaction. Say the head butler is purposely inflate the daily expense to make it seems that the house doesn't have enough fund to operate so the head would borrow money to the butler real master, then slowly empty the coffer so the house would fall. The head would definitely didn't know why the shit happen until the end.

I could understand if the setting happens in a more medieval era, but based on the mansion, the school, and everything else, the people should be educated, yet here we are.

I take it back what i said. I came across an article in my country about a celebrity who is a married woman, got caught by paparazi holding hand with a guy and acting close with each other. People instantly called her two-timer or unfaithful and her career instantly plummet. It was later found out that the guy is her cousin she was close since little and her husband knows and also pretty close to him. Even so, not a lot of people believe the article and her career never recover (as far as i know).

That news show me that people believe what they want to believe. Not whats logical nor the truth. Seeing our MC basically seems like the perfect lady in the beginning, it led me to believe that those people including the family just doesn't believe that she is innocent. They can't believe that there is such a perfect person without fault, and this "jealousy" is actually what underneath that kindness.

Well, the problem I am talking about is this is the act of a 1 man army (the villaines, girl) manipulating everyone including their family into thinking the girl is at fault and it become so severe that people, including her family, want her dead. As a ground for execution and a big turnover like that, it's not very, let's say "realistic" (i hate using this word), to be developing that hard.
If I take an argument for the paparazi misleading media article, I will say that her close friends are still in support of her and the family is likely not going to abandon her just because of that. The one in the manga is so hard on the turn yet it's hardly believable the process of how it got to that point.

The later chapter explain it all, it's just "magic" shit going on, villain control, pets found out, surprised omfg I don't know it would be that

Also, I know there is a hate train everywhere a successful individual/group walk at. Like this recent cod and starfield, but they deserve it, and my point is successful people get it hard when it come to hate and it damage more than them can manage.

Imma use this code platform as an edit, i forgot that one, sorry

right? i hate it when bullying in fantasy manga happened just for the sake of it? how tf would these maid believed on someone they just met instead of the one they know for years? i might be commenting to soon but i hope it's something like magic item (The One Within Villainess comes to mind) so it would make more sense

is it possible for a single stranger that no one knows to turn everyone a well known, well liked person into a villainess with just some lies and gossip? idk I guess, although it’s super unlikely

are there better ways to write a plausible, yet still emotional, scenario for an alleged villainess‘s fall? definitely

even a skill/magic/ability that causes it to happen is kinda weak tbh

The only way to rationalize everything that happened in this chapter, is that Lily is literally a demon bent on corrupting the kingdom's officials.

If she's just a really good actor, that's just bad writing...

This is such a bad read :

there's no magic involved at all, she has a skill called "influencer" that just make people a bit more receptive to what she says, but everybody turns against mc in extreme ways from just a couple words. Even her father, fiance and brother condamn her to death with no evidence, no motive, and in a very rushed judgment. This whole manga makes no sense whatsoever.

At this point it'd just follow suit and actually kill them 😐

Appreciate, if your spoiler "tag" wouldn't actually spoil people, without needing to click on it

what do you mean ?
"Mind control" hasnt been mentioned up to where you wrote it, but if you write it into the spoiler description itself, that's technically already spoiling it, since yes you could speculate it is "mind control", though for a first time reader it's not definitive yet

It's already been heavily speculated at this point in the comments, I'm far from spoiling anything there by putting a "mind control" between "". I could have called it charm, as it's how it's called in the manga, but it's just semantics there. But I don't mind changing the tag, what would you suggest instead ?
