He doesn't care what happens even to the people who are good to him. He won't do anything if it doesn't profit him. For example, There is a girl who looks up to MC and wants to be like him. But the girl's father pisses of MC. So MC takes away all the money from the father which was supposed to be paid to an asshole. So, the asshole comes for money after MC left. Poor girl is taken by the asshole and gangr*ped to death. Well, MC doesn't expect it to go to that extent though. All of it happens off screen though.)

The world building of the novel is a cruel world with a lot of bad
and crazy people. Arrogant assholes, druggists, slaves, rapists. You get a lot of them. All the things except gore happen off-screen though.

Hmmm. Well while people knew this was going to happen... I don't think it's for the reasons people were initially assuming.
I think they're in some way related to the other Clan that got mentioned. That or Royalty of some kind.
They specifically seemed to focus on their being considered Children rather than Adults.
Lloyd also admitted a small portion of the truth in that they would eventually NEED to make a Clan anyways.
Tania seemed shocked by him revealing that which means that it's something pretty serious to consider. I'd say the son or daughter of the top clan making their own clan would be a pretty big deal...

But I certainly don't believe either one is a traitor. I think they're probably going to break whatever ties that were holding them back.
These next few chapters of our protagonist being stuck with musclebrain will be entertaining to say the least.
