wait, the story takes place in japan? unexpected. didn't know japan had magic and monsters

@TheGoodFella I assumed she didnt pick monster tamer? Wasn't the title "just a passing demon lord" (as opposed to monster tamer) for a reason? They even explained that monster tamers can only contract demons, meaning demon angel supposedly should be able to tame both demon & non-demon fluffies?

@feha this is just a case of mistranslation + inconsistency. demon angel is one of them. it's already been said, but because 使い and 天使 share the same kanji they misread? 魔物 can be demon, but the common translation/meaning is monster. the translator just appears to be a beginner (or just using mtl), seeing the mistakes they've made with basic grammar and kanji. basic one is like how they put "if you do not use the demon in that state," when it says その状態で戦わなければ. others have already listed a few more examples in this comment section. for some reason, this happens a lot with isekai. also
she wouldn't be the demon lord, that's the "cat" she saved.

@anifd the title for the manga changed I think. Back when I opened the tab, it said demon lord in place of monster tamer iirc.
And yes, I know its an error (they change what they call the work all the time in the chapter), but I still think the idea I posited is more humorous and thus canon

3 different people on translation, proofreading, and QCing, and nobody caught that "demon angel" was nonsense?

Hello! Simp'n uploader here, we heard your feedback and we did something about it 😎I went over and re-QC'ed it again to the best of my abilities and fixed everything that needed a reword and such. Our JTL is on a break so we couldn't get ahold of her... >with that being said, I hope it's easier to read and such! Our future chapters will most definitely be better >psst we're also recruiting JTL for this series xd.

Join our discord server and dm me (Peng) if there are mistakes that needs to be fixed

@myng Since feedback seems to be allowed - instead of "Fluffy" as short for "Fluffy animals", perhaps try "Fluffies"? It's still shorter, but it's also a plural and a noun instead of an adjective.

@feha if you didn't know Japanese, then it's not necessary to defend the mistranslation. as a side note I think you mean headcanon. even so, that doesn't fit either since it's only for things that aren't explicitly said in the original, leaving room for interpretation. refer to the spoiler that's not really that much of a spoiler since it's literally just in the next chapter.

@xts:

Well, the job will multiply and divide with predetermined-number percent.
For example (to easily understand, not real information)
Jobless has 100% in all STATs.
Swordsman will have like 200% of STR, VIT, 50% INT, WIS, 100% DEX, AGI.
In the novel, it was said that Monster Tamer will have all STATs greatly reduced in exchange for the Taming skill.

I guess she "had" 18002 in all STATs, after being reduced she only has over 9000 left.

@anifd I dont think I am defending it, am I? Even rereading what I wrote, all I see is me poking fun at the poor translation.
As for terminology, one could argue that its merely headcanon, but I prefer to argue that my opinions/ideas has precedence over authors. I think, therefor I am, and all that. Or just because I know its humorously incorrect. Either works :)
