I stand by the "don't yuck another's yum" mantra of food, and it goes both ways. Kind'uva dick move on Yuuka's part to just throw them in after two people expressed distaste for them, because it's not like omurice gets categorically worse in that one ingredient's absence. I'm sure some sort of compromise could have been reached, that didn't see her just trampling all over her sister & her friend in the process.
But the outcome of the scene is Riko and Aika continuously growing closer, and it's a point in commonality between them which is a good thing for the narrative (maybe bad for Riko, depending on your perspective, but, hey).
Definitely a cliffhanger of all time to end the chapter on, but we'll just have to see what Aika wants. The fact that so much is rattling around in her head where Riko is concerned though is exciting (or not, for Riko, because see above).
