This is really the crux of the matter. I don't want to read another fucking regular boring romcom. This is interesting and unique, and, y'know, not real. Anyone taking issue with something entirely fictional for having taboo themes... needs to take a step back and reassess themselves. It's not healthy to not be able to separate fiction from reality.

For what it's worth, there was plenty of signage that you were going to get kicked in the nuts, but it was in a different language, and most of the people who knew you were about to have your nuts kicked were more interested in seeing how you'd react to it than they were in genuinely warning you.

I wasn't saying hentai artists never make horny work, I'm saying their vanilla SFW stories are usually clean. It just shows they can make a vanilla story if they wanted (or they had editors to hold them back), that isn't to say they don't also make more suggestive stories that are a step below full on porn.

This Sasha series felt like a vanilla rom-com at the start but now the connection to the artist's other degen works is unavoidable. IMO the mangaka didn't need to connect them because this story works without mentioning the hentai side but, well, maybe they couldn't help themselves.

Honestly, the ability of not being able to pair-bond because of having casual sex is true based on research but that’s only in real life. This does not work in fiction so even if Sasha had a lot sex prior to falling for MC, she can still pair-bond with him because the author wants her to. Noise doesn’t really count since their works are pretty NSFW as well.
The difference between Haguhagu and other hentai mangakas who’ve done fucked up shit too, is that they have almost always started their serializations with new characters in a clean setting. In 774's case, it’s not even comparable because Nagatoro has always been a rather SFW character, especially since 774 drew her during his ryona era, where he could’ve done worse but didn’t.

On the other hand, Haguhagu has not only drawn Sasha as an ultra-sexual girl doing fucked-up shit from her inception circa 2012-13, but has continued to do so to THIS day, and I bet will keep doing so after this manga ends, lol.

Just think back to the doujinshi he made in 2010–11 when he was known as wadk, which is considered to be Sasha's pilot; an elementary schooler being gangraped by teachers while crying.

Dude's just built different and has always been savage when it comes to Sasha, and will continue to be.

This issue isn't so much the girl being slutty it's the dude being pathetic. That's what bothers readers more often than not. Add the fact most readers are male and you have a recipe for rejection.

Me personally I'll still read this because I've been aware of haguhagu's work for a long time. Hell when I saw this serialized version initially I didn't believe for a second this would be wholesome. And the hentai art based off this version confirmed my initial response.

The “if” chapters aren’t canon, per the author’s twitter

I've explained this repeatedly, but some seem to be in denial. There are different "routes" that he makes that are not all connected. There is the "Futoshi Kun Route," which is it's own thing.

He also has the "If:Route" which are "what ifs" and are not canon to the "Shisho (MC) Route" which is this story. They are like alternate stories. Not every doujinshi with Sasha is canon to this story. There's a lot of assumptions made there.

I've tried clarifying what this series truly is (without exaggeration) and pointing out that this version isn’t as wild as some think, being romance and comedy focused.

They’ll figure it out eventually. For instance, Senpai is never seen or mentioned again—he disappears after this chapter because Sasha means what she says here (at least as of 70+ chapters of material). I actually forgot about him. She wants to date MC.

I'll post this once more for those who might be on the fence about staying, though it's fair to bounce if it's not for you. It does deal with sexually promiscuous characters. I just want to make clear what this series actually is, instead of some of the exaggeration. The series is crazy enough already.

"Worrying" and "considering the character implications of" are two different things. Fretting over the immorality of something is different than going "...okay so if that's happening in this story then that really changes things." There's a sort of understood unreality in h-manga, especially ones involving underaged characters. That same unreality doesn't extend to manga like this.
