The hope that dwindled for this series in me has been a little rekindled.

Right. It’s pretty obvious he views sex and especially close relationships as something you do with someone you love - she views neither as such, hence her having sex with anyone she feels like and saying it’s “a pain in the ass” that you should date people you love.

This chapter is a great example of why this should never had love plot in the story. They have entirely different mind sets and his just getting warped overtime. She should have stayed as his muse and his muse only but Hagu is not a writer capable of pulling that kind of nuance so he will remain a cuck instead. The moment he confessed which throw out the "sex friend" angle out the window (and the confirmation of the doujins) story was done. I mean even as readers, would anyone here would wish for the little dude to put a ring on THAT?
