Interestingly enough, I posed two questions to Hagu on his twitter after chapter 72 got released. One of them he liked and one of them he didn’t respond to.

The first question dealt with whether or not Hagu will introduce some level of sexual exclusivity with the master and Sasha (or will it only remain on an emotional level) - since let’s be fair now we really don’t like Sasha getting dogged by other people. He didn’t react to that one.

The second one dealt with whether or not Sasha would actually experience character development (and not have it be just Master undergoing all the change) and if that promise of “once you’re my boyfriend I’ll do as you say” be brought up later as a plot device. He left a like on that one.

So hope that helps clear things up with the future direction of the story. Looks like we may never get the monogamous route of Sasha/Master.

And if you can't see why some people take issue with even fictional kids being depicted in these types of situations, in a blatantly fetishistic manner, then I'm not sure what I can tell you. I think it's mostly the tone that bothers me - I can see a series that explores these themes in a different way working, but this is clearly just Hagu putting his fucked up fantasies on display in a way that felt like a massive bait-and-switch to people who didn't know who he was before, like me.

Btw, I think "equate" would be the right word rather than equalize. Not 100% though.

There are mangas that have similar themes that I honestly think do a better job. On the gentler SFW side, It's Not Meguro-san's First Time. The NSFW eromanga r18 side, I Like You Who Can Have Sex With Anyone.

Both titles are messy, weird, and have a bunch of problems. BUT they at least let you know what the hell they're about and keep on theme from chapter 1. Plus neither are trying to cram in 11 years of weird fetish dojin lore halfway through.

"Doujin Senpai" showed up once in Chapter 30.5, and was alluded to in 66 when Sasha showed MC the video. This other Senpai doesn't show up in the doujins at all, and was just dropped into the story to NTR MC directly. If we just assume that anything directly related to Futoshi just isn't canon here (e.g.: if she went to his home one day, she just went to some other guy's house), that seems to accurately cover the differences.

Yeah I did read some of Meguro-san, but ended up dropping it for the reasons you said - the story felt a bit disjointed, like the author was just kinda making it up as they went along.

The main difference to me (aside from being clear on what they were about, like you said) is that that one focused on high schoolers having relationships with each other, which is perfectly normal. Granted the past relationships shown there weren't great, but it was at the very least written about characters who were at the age where people usually start exploring sexual stuff, rather than a middle-schooler going around fucking a bunch of much older people. This one literally can not have any backstory for Sasha's character (dunno if that's explained at all in the doujins) that isn't extremely abusive, given what we already know.

Edit: the story of Meguro-san also wasn't presented in a sexual way at all from what I remember. This one long since crossed the line into fetish-bait territory.

I personally think disavowing drawing something previously is scummier than being honest to God, even though the other is also really scummy.

It’s less “disavowing” and more “this is what would happen if bro didn’t succeed”. More of a “Bad End” variant than a secret shame

Cheeky Gal is by far the better manga:

- Characters and theme established by chapter 3. So far has stuck to that premise.

- Yandere detective little bro is just as weird and messed up as FMC

- Both MC and FMC's actions affect each other and there is growth. It's not a one-sided relationship.

- Author isn't normalizing the fucked up shit done to the FMC.

- Fanbox stuff is non-canon and just author-made fanservice. I don't mind, Japan's economy is tough right now, and the author's gotta eat.

Cheeky Gal is decent, trashy 6 out 10 to me.

Good point, I'll do that. It's still a very situational solution though, MD really needs to have a way of hiding tags. Or at least hiding a specific series that you don't want to see.

The issue wasn’t “how can I block this in retrospect” it was “how could have I used the tag system to prevent myself from having to see something like this”. Which unfortunately there isn’t a way to do that since the tag system on mangadex, while generally serviceable, is limited.

I dunno. Taking some twitter doodles as hard canon is dubious to me. He's said that if you're on the ShiSho route follow the fanbox and ignore the fantia as it's Futoshi, IFs and original drawings. It's all so wishy washy, that I don't take it too serious to the current events of the manga. I don't know where you're getting that she's in middle school during that sex tape doujin. She quit Jr Idol work when entering middle school. Though she still does modeling photos. She talks about it in chapter 68 of the manga and invites ShiSho to come to the next shoot. Ever since meeting master, until we get confirmation, I believe she's been too busy to bother with some activates like those streams.

A lot of her activity comes from being lonely and bored, and master has alleviated... some... of it. Not enough to stop her seeing sex friends, obviously. We'll see what happens in the future, but I just don't see the evidence of her still doing those streams in the current story. At the end of Sasha-chan ga Youkoso there's a spoiler panel that talks about Sasha trying to become a model, but failing due to problems from her past jr idol work. Gradually starts work as a model again and gets married soon after graduating. So seems to line up with what Hagu wants and hasroughly outlined for the end of Sasha and ShiSho's story.

The Japanese clearly states "IF" is only a part of the content there. The story doesn't need to literally tell us something happened for us to know it's canon when the author is tying it to the porn (See Cheeky Gal Pre-serialization and 492902).

The message beneath it ("ふとしくんルートやIFルートがたくさんある部屋なのでししょールート派の方はFANBOXへお願いします") doesn't mean "None of this is canon; please go to the Fanbox for canon content", it means "I put up a ton of shit here, and some of it is Futoshi stuff, some of it hypothetical IF chapters, and others canon. If you're in the Sasha/MC camp, go to the Fanbox so you only see them together, and not the rest.."

In other words: He's segregating the sources by partner, not canonicity. Basically, if you read the manga and liked the ship, he made that specifically for you. The rest is for everyone else.
That said, this means that you were right about the latest doujin: He really wanted to promote it, so he put it in the "Sasha with MC" section, where it doesn't otherwise belong. It's canon, but it's in the "wrong" place.

The guys are canon, and so are their doujins. The same guys (Specifically Dance School Senpai) will have "non-if" chapters released alongside "IF" chapters, like you saw in the graphic. If they were all "IF", he'd release the Halloween chapter, then post the NTR in Fantia without "IF" in the title, since you'd know by it being on Fantia; He'd just say anything involving MC is an "IF" there

Also, we agree the Futoshi-kun route isn't canon. Clearly she kept modeling and having sex with the President in this timeline, just like every single chart confirms.
