I think we skipped somehing on 40.0. Also I think these self advertisements are made by scan or translation groups.

Sadly, in the future we are likely to experience more anthrax infection cases. Due to global warming, the arctic permafrost will thaw, releasing spores of anthrax bacteria from reindeer carcasses (yes they could survive permafrost for quite a long time)

Anthrax, it does the body bad! It is so hard to find a doctor these days who will make house-calls, but Dr. Thrax still does!

Heh. Okay, I like this. Put all your troubles on a blog and let the modern professionals help you out, because the internet knows everything in a scarily thorough compilation of most of human knowledge.

I think I missed something, but why is the senior doctor freaking out? Is it just because he's a professional intent on easing suffering? Or is there something horrific to Anthrax specifically? It just feels like a joke overall.

I'm glad Mitsuha didn't fight him on wanting to go with her though. Following the procedures is for health reasons, not just legal, and this feels more believable than just leaving it to her.

@Psychronia: Anthrax is a horrifying disease. Depending on how she was infected, the patient could have a 25% chance of dying, or only a 25% chance of living. The girl appears to have it on her skin, which is, thankfully, the least dangerous version, but it still needs to be treated immediately. It is not something to take lightly.
