He mentions it in the chapter at page 14. He has relations with people in the world (in this case, Count Paolo), so while he can escape, he'd bring problems to them since he's kinda famous or smt at this point (at the very least, the queen could look into him).

Also, the whole thing he's worried about is geting captured, so idk how you can just walk off that (escaping to My World won't work since he'd come back out in the same spot).

Rn the problem is that the queen has the powers of "the queen", which is actually bad in this world since it allows her to interfere with the job system whatwith the criminal job being a thing, which has reaching consequences to those around him.

In addition to all this, this is the one place where it makes sense to not want to always act, his motivation was old dude that died in front of him, he has no real personal stake here, besides respecting the old dude's wishes, so I'd think more people would be like "move on, this isn't your problem", kind like how you phrased the message im replying to.

The only thing he's not really absorbing into his thinking is how powerful he is with his 5 jobs. Admittedly, it's good not to get cocky, since just like cursed spearman, there's lot of possibilities that the system has jobs that could mess with him. But he's pretty unlikely to be beaten by the Queen & her guard in any kind of combat. His sis/prior Demon Lord was flat out shocked by how strong he is w/ his maximizing job setup (vs when he's doing a leveling setup).

I guess since Haru got her skill from a copy of MC's skill, her world is the same "My World" of his? I wonder if she has any authority of it now, like being able to use that book that hasn't showed up in a long while.

It's also pretty cool that the first wifey is the one with the skill to open My World, kind of solidifies her as the main/first wife position even more.

And from the coloured pages, I always forget Carol has pink hair, since it's usually dark in the black and white pages I always imagine her with brown her lool
