The thought I had was simply going to another town or something and informing them about what the adventurers guild does there, because this is basically ruining the trust build into the adventurers guild and abstructing a strong adventurer.
Especially if he sells to this other guild the Materials and proofs that he is a spirit mage there.
I dont believe that it will be taken lightly and even clear punishment will be given.

PS: As far as I understand is that spirits and genuine spirit mages are held in really high esteem among the nobles. So if that Situation is known, there should be no way that they wont react or move, because it could potentially drive away an important human ressource and/or could gravely anger the spirits.

I think the party name would be better off as "Spirit sorcerers are strong/great/amazing" something like that. "Strongest spirit sorcerer" makes it seem like they're bragging about themselves, like they specifically are the best spirit sorcerers rather rather than his actual goal of trying to elevate the image of spirit sorcerers as a whole.
