Arguing good faith against pseudoscience bullshit preying on unhappy folk gets you nowhere
There is no group of people on this planet I respect less than a psychiatrist

You cant argue somebody into being happy
Unless you are in a one in million with an actual fundamental mental illness the thing making you unhappy is your shitty workslave life in this capitalist hell hole, and shovelling your hard earned money to a guy that merely pretends to know what the fuck is going on is nothing but disgusting
Americans swear by their therapies but they still arent faring any better, just goes to show how useless it is

Youve got people freaking out over fluoride but this medical institution literally lobotomizing people with happy pills goes over their head
Dude, you've literally got no idea what you're bleating on about.

Psychology gave me the tools I need to not kill myself. Also, the pills are always a choice, I was given the choice, said no and then worked with my psychologist to get as many tools in my arsenal as I could to combat my suicidal depression on a day to day basis. I use them still nearly 20 years later cause they work. It fucking works dumbass.

Anyway, you've been reported for giving harmful medical advice to the mentally unwell unsolicited. I hope you get banned.

The neat part of mental issues is that its all in your head, literally imaginary
The only people psychology works on are extrinsically motivated easily manipulated mindless cattle
The kind of person that gets emotionally hurt over anonymous messages on the internet, completely incapable of differentiating reality and compartmentalizing
So these people arent just sick in the head but also potentially dangerous :wooow: :wooow:

Also psychology is literally just sugar pill placebo for the brain, none of it has any biologically quantifiable factual basis, just trying shit in hopes it works 🤷‍♂️
The closest we have ever gotten to functional mental health care was when germany tried just having people live a frugal life and touch some plants, that went down with WW2 though and now we have scam councillors and pills that turn you braindead
I have never seen such ignorance before in my life holy shit. Your brain is fried by too much Twitter and Tiktok consumption. Get your head out of the gutter, read books or actually start learning more from actual credible source instead of some whacky ass influencers and corrupted politicians.

Meh, this comes off as lackluster and pretentious.

I absolutely love the rare moments where Japanese works acknowledge psychology, this has a lot of potential.
That being said, I think it’s kind of weird how the sage is a constant observer during these sessions, shouldn’t that kind of ruin the point of a one-on-one?

Especially in the case of the hero where part of his complexes were (accidentally) created by the sage. Somehow he was still able to open up.

Doesn’t really help that they kept narrating the session as if it was an rpg fight and describing every little thing Hoshino was doing.

Still, this has potential.

I like this Sage. Despite living for 1000 years already, she's still willing to be a disciple. Psychology itself is a very young branch of academics compared to, say, math or engineering, having only been started to grow in the last 100 years. Psychology is an entirely different world in that world (pun intended) and while it only makes sense to be a disciple of someone knowledgable, it's an entirely different matter if you're 1000+ years old

Anyway, my university offered free psychological counseling but I never taken one. Even if there's confidentiality, I never liked the idea of someone accessing and probing my mind despite feeling like a trainwreck in my entire duration of study. You could say I managed to tough it out, but there was one time I got an impulse to drive my motorcycle off a bridge when I passed through one so don't be like me and seek help, I guess.
