this plot is pretty interesting though it also leaves me with mixed feelings. it depends on how long the series is planned to last obviously, espescially since we now have a demon lord like being with all those subordinates going strong, so the next chapter needs to tell us where the plot wants them all to arrive at.

This is such a shitshow. I would understand the whole MC being misconstrued as a demon lord, but the whole premise of fucking taming a whole ass human with some bullshit excuse and using the same bullshit excuse to revive a character. I just want authors to stick to their decisions if you want to kill a character then let them die or at the very least make it near impossible to revive them. When MC can revive people and enslave them willy nilly like this the whole story loses its sense of urgency. Fuuuuuuck I am so tired of shitty mangas like this.

@feha Remember, the last "demon lord" mentioned a couple chapters ago wasn't a demon lord either, she was a monster tamer as well but you know the saying "history is always written by the winners" and the humans decided to make her out to be this really evil monster hellbent on destroying the world when in reality she just wanted to be left alone with her monster friends.

Although based on the explanation from the dragon, there did exist a demon lord (actual demon lord) before the last "demon lord" (monster tamer) that created the dragon and the other monster species as well. However this whole explanation on how demonic beings are made is one hell of an asspull on the authors part (not to mention reviving chapi) that essentially makes monster tamer pretty much identical to the demonic lord job at least in a practical or observational sense. Unless the author wants to start letting the MC just pop monsters into existence out of thin air using his mana then what would be the point of even making the distinction between the jobs in the first place. Unless they're going to reveal that yeah the "demon lord" job exists but not a single person has ever chosen the job and that the monster tamer job really was mistaken for demon lord the entire time.

WTF are you talking about? He changed his class, but it's not like he lost all his powers and had to start again from scratch. In this chapter alone he single-handedly slaughtered an S-rank adventurer, and swatted away the "trump-card" attack of another S-rank like it was a mosquito, both without being scratched.

It's more like he started out as the most powerful being in the world, is still the most powerful being, only now he can also enslave and/or resurrect anyone at will.

Well, I do like the the way that he can turn humans into demonic beings and i can live with the explanation how "monsters" came to be (isnt so much different than most "demon lord/dark god" stuff.
Still, this whole stuff would have had way more impact with a dead chappi, the revive waters it down a bit too much for me, but well, seems more like a easy going manga that wanna throw some "drama" in that isnt so much real drama

@Kayriel No, he upgraded, he has all his power from before and now a new path, imagine it as a tree that got new branches, but the old ones are still there. The chapters before showed that clearly.

Ah, i don't thing human/the church ever face a proper demon lord as is someone with demon lord class but instead they only make an enemy out of person with tamer skill and mistakenly thing that she or he is demon lord... or maybe they mislead the people into believing a person with tamer class is demon lord (it fit the bill, well, kind of, a person in command of an army of monster) and gain political power from defeating demon lord... And they keep antagonizing a person with tamer class to maintain their power because fighting against tamer is easier than a real demon lord, until now...
