@Qelix I do believe the point was meant to be kind of like “he’s very undisciplined in his fighting style, because he’s basically had no contact with major human spots for 5 years”. On top of that, if we believe that he truly wanted to be lazy, i doubt he would have trained in fighting prior to his 15th birthday and the job assignment.

Not quite sure why the MC's fight is even lasting this long (just for tension, I suppose?) considering the level gap and even class disparity (to some extent). A lvl 99 +5 (lvl 104) vs. a level 59 should realistically be over in a matter of seconds. I guess he's toying with him to vent some anger? Still, seems rather reckless considering there are two more similar combatants fighting your other companion's.

My guess on how things will unfold: Fighting will continue. Priestess chick will show up and recognize Ruri. She will mention some skill she has that might save him, but she's unsure because she's never used it on a monster. Tension increases. Priestess spell works. Fighting will continue for a bit until Chappi reappears or is noticed by the MC. From there the S class will mention how they are at a disadvantage and retreat while vowing retribution . Monsters want to give chase and MC tells them not to. Everyone celebrates while swearing to get stronger. MC will decide his presence is a threat to the village and choose to leave. Priestess decides to join him since she'll be reported for 'helping monsters". Not sure if elf chick will choose to stay or join. They then leave while ordering all remaining local monsters to protect elf land. Meanwhile, the S Ranks will report the situation to the King or guild who will automatically assume the MC is the Demon Lord since they have no records of anyone as strong as him with a taming class.

That's about what I anticipate. It seems kind of by-the-numbers and I'm sure most will be wrong, but we'll see. Im hoping at least one or two of the S Ranks die, but I just can't see it happening.

I don't think for example a lvl 99 HERO has the same stats as lvl 99 normal adventurer. That would be really weird.

@Redice - I saw that page and interpreted as an assumption on Fist Kings part. His arrogance in his own abilities, if you will. In the end does the MC need to put all that effort into fighting him? Like the difference in effort you yourself would put when fighting a cat as opposed to a lion. Keep in mind, the MC reached lvl 99. Alone. That in itself would require a considerable amount of effort and combat experience.

@Amizer - Exactly. Like I said, the class disparity alone would uneven any playing field. Unless those class specific bonus's don't apply to human opponent's? Either way, I think it's more for plot reasons, or he's toying with him, than anything else. Like, when would his monsters get some spotlight if he just exploded everything he hit instantly? Plus, i'm sure it's to give some credibility to the S Ranks as well, because on the flipside is how Mino and Gob might not be a match for the S Ranks. Guess we'll see how it plays out.

@Happily_Grim Who knows. Not really elaborated on except for this chapter where a trained fighter calls his moves amateurish, meaning he had no professional training, like a 1/100th of a hulk being analyzed by a boxer.
Maybe the MC got his level just by doing push ups and sit ups 100x a day or just killed slimes everyday for 300 years or he get isekai'd with a max level cheat or maybe he's just a level 1 fisticuffs but level 100 swords/guns and magically become efficient at moving his body once equipped with one, or two. It's a manga, and isekai at that, with game-like rules. Wait, was this an isekai again? Eh, they're all the same.

1)Alright you make a good point. I kinda forgot. But, didn't they originally not know about the hidden village, and came specifically to slay the dragon?
2) I call your likely scenario and raise you an absurd one. What if she intervenes, and then dies in the cross fire (which the adventures then blame the MC for before escaping). She later gets raised as un-dead and then follows MC as his tamed MOB. +1 to harem.
