@aigomorla If the hero is as overpowered as the goddess made him out to be he probably has a threat-detection sense or skill that would warn him as soon as the box entered into range.
@Sep10trion Metal Gear Gander? Is that a goose-shaped Metal Gear?
He used magic pretty much to "procure materials" and "shape materials". Fire magic was to replace gunpowder blast.
So how can he "get rid of recoil" using it? Unless our current technology is able to produce recoilless gun, he will not be able to produce it either.
But hey, he used magic to get rid of "issue of recoil", so that's the only thing that matter. And his method was much more straightforward and easy. No need to reinvent the wheel, when solution is right under the nose.
wow
we have a loli
a lewd. loli.
but all this preparations i am curious of what the hero's ability is if he's being treated powerful enough by him and the goddess
Personally I very much expect the hero to be a 'she'. The story does say his aim is to kill him/her, but as light-hearted as these first chapters have come off I really can't see this turning that dark without some major mood whiplash tone shift.
'Produce gold through magic', yeah, let's plunge the economy through the gutter while we're at it...
Yeah yeah I get it man. In 2 weeks you'll create a nuclear bomb and in a month a special grenade that casts a supernova, right? I mean, we know how it scientifically works, so you can do it, right? When will we be getting our galaxy-sized Gundam?
One could catch glimpses of the (maybe, just speculating) darkness to come, if you look at chapter 2.1. The part about stabbing the prisoners, well even the fact the mansion having a secret prison with people to train the 'steeling of the heart' of an assassin was pretty dark. Didn't keep the mood for long though, I mean with the meeting of the loli and him shooting her with an arrow...
